The Brand New Traxxas Raptor R Pro Scale Truck

Read moreMini McLaren Senna RC Racing Car is too fast

Just give you a little sneak peek right there. We have in front of us the brand new Traxxas Raptor R Pro scale. I am super excited for this truck. I didn’t know they were gonna come out with this thing, it’s kind of cool. It’s throwing a twist on the whole scale scenario. We’re still utilizing a very well-known chassis and I have some concerns. But I have some very big expectations for this thing and I’m super happy to see how this works out. Let’s go ahead and throw this guy open out the box. I’m not going to do a big long unboxing for you guys. I want to get this thing out on the track and drive the heck out of it and show you guys what it is made of.

    The Contents of the Box

First off, of course, we have our standard TQ transmitter fresh out of the box right here, rolling off the showroom floor. We got our little instruction manual and pet tool packet. Let’s just dive in this really quick, really quick. I know I don’t want to bore you. I don’t want to bore myself either if I’m being honest, but let’s see what we got in here. We have an optional pinion gear. This looks like it’s going to be the high-speed gearing one, comes with the set screw. Very nice, Traxxas always includes this in their models. Super nice of them. We have a little Traxxas turnbuckle wrench, some various Allens, and it looks like the hex to be able to get the wheels off next.

    The Little Shock Spacers

The little shock spacers are extra diaphragms that can be added to the shocks to change their performance. These spacers are designed to make the fender flares sit nicely and also add some reflectors to them. Although it may not be clear where exactly these spacers are meant to go, they could potentially serve as rock protectors for the front of the bed, similar to those found on older trucks like Porsches. It is reminiscent of the small piece of black paint protection film (ppf) found on those vehicles. Additionally, there are some track stickers included which can be a fun addition for customization.

    A Detailed Manual

Included with the package is a fully detailed manual that provides a comprehensive description of all the part numbers and components of the truck. This manual is especially helpful for first-time users who may need guidance on how to assemble or disassemble the truck. Whether you are a seasoned RC enthusiast or a novice, thoroughly going through the manual will prove to be beneficial in understanding the truck better.

    A Quick Start Guide

Also provided is a quick start guide that educates users about the necessary steps to get started with the truck. It includes instructions on how to start the truck, use the ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) for the first time, and make use of the new clipless body system. This guide aims to provide a convenient and efficient way for users to begin their RC adventure without any delay.

Unveiling the Special Edition Black RC Truck

Now, without any further ado, let’s get to the exciting part. In front of us lies the highly sought-after special edition black RC truck. This particular edition is a prized possession and offers a unique opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts. If you want to preserve the pristine condition of the body, it might be tempting to keep it encapsulated and display it on a shelf for safekeeping.

In , the little shock spacers, detailed manual, and quick start guide are valuable components of the RC truck package. These serve to enhance the user experience and provide valuable information to both beginners and experienced RC enthusiasts. Additionally, the special edition black RC truck adds a touch of exclusivity to any collection. With proper care and maintenance, it can become a prized possession for any RC lover.

    Sizing up the Bronco

Traxxas has introduced their newest addition to the Slash 4×4 family – the Bronco. With its four tabs and one on each wheel, this bad boy promises to give a mind-blowing performance. But is it really up to the mark? Let’s find out.

    Unleashing the Beast

Upon starting the Bronco, one immediately notices the aggressive gear mesh. This is no ordinary Slash; it roars like a beastly monster. Equipped with the Mamba Monster system, this truck delivers power like never before. But aside from the roaring sound, what else does it offer?

    A Familiar Look

At first glance, the Bronco appears to be just like a standard Slash 4×4. It features the same chassis and is powered by the Valinium 3500 motor with the VXL3S. However, this is where the similarities end. Traxxas has made some notable improvements, and we are excited to see how this new system and motor perform.

    Overheating Concerns

One of the issues with the previous model was its tendency to overheat. This would often lead to problems with thermaling. However, we hope Traxxas has addressed this issue in the Bronco. With its larger chassis and wheels, we expect to see an upgraded powertrain system that can handle the extra demands.

    Smooth Ride, Strong Shocks

Taking the Bronco for a test run, we found the shocks to be impressive. They feel sturdy and capable of absorbing a significant amount of bumps. Unlike its predecessors, the Bronco’s shocks do not bottom out easily, proving that Traxxas has put effort into ensuring a smooth ride. Although it lacks certain features like titanium or nitride coated shock shafts and threaded bodies, this does not hinder the overall performance.

In , the Bronco showcases Traxxas’ commitment to delivering high-performance RC trucks. With its beastly power and improved components, it offers a thrilling experience for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts. While it may not be a complete overhaul from the previous models, the Bronco is a step in the right direction. Traxxas has listened to feedback and made necessary improvements, proving yet again why they are a leader in the RC vehicle industry. So, gear up and prepare to have a blast with the Bronco.

The Traxxas Raptor R: A Stylish and Impressive RC Truck

The Traxxas Raptor R is a highly anticipated remote control truck that has caught the attention of many RC enthusiasts. With its sleek design and impressive features, this truck promises to deliver an exciting and thrilling experience. However, upon closer inspection, some enthusiasts feel that there may be a few key elements missing from this otherwise impressive vehicle.

Missing Upgrades: The Need for Threaded Shock Bodies

One of the main concerns raised by enthusiasts is the absence of threaded shock bodies on the Traxxas Raptor R. The lack of this particular upgrade leaves some wanting more from this truck. While the standard shocks are perfectly functional, the addition of threaded shock bodies would have undoubtedly enhanced the overall performance and customizability of the vehicle.

Impeccable Design: The Beauty of Gloss Black

Despite the missing upgrades, the Traxxas Raptor R is undeniably a stunning piece of machinery. The gloss black finish of the truck is truly mesmerizing and adds a touch of elegance to its appearance. The attention to detail in the design is also impressive, particularly in the Raptor-inspired body and wide body fenders. Traxxas has certainly succeeded in capturing the essence and vibe of the legendary Raptor.

Updated Scale Parts: A True Raptor Experience

Traxxas has gone above and beyond to incorporate updated scale parts into the Raptor R. From the little red R on the body to the wide body fenders and scale-inspired details, this truck truly embodies the spirit of the Raptor. Enthusiasts commend Traxxas for their dedication to authenticity and attention to every small detail, making the Raptor R a true delight for those who appreciate scale RC models.

A : An Exciting RC Truck That Leaves Some Wanting More

Ultimately, the Traxxas Raptor R is a commendable RC truck that offers both style and performance. While it may fall short in some areas, such as the absence of threaded shock bodies, it does not diminish the overall excitement and thrill that this vehicle can provide. For enthusiasts who prioritize aesthetics and genuine scale experience, the Raptor R certainly delivers on its promises. However, for those seeking more advanced features and upgrades, it may leave them wanting more. Regardless, Traxxas has once again impressed with their attention to detail and commitment to creating captivating RC vehicles.
