The Chevrolet K10 Hardbody High Trail Edition is finally here and it looks awesome. It comes ready to run and includes a radio system, electronics, battery charger, instruction manual, and even a drop down trailer hitch. Plus, you get a free poster!
Body Design
The body is a lightweight Hardbody and it doesn’t have any body clips. Instead, it uses an under clip system. The body is molded in bright blue ABS plastic and it has plenty of chrome details. The bumper, grill, headlight bezels, wipers, mirrors, and chrome roll bar all have chrome trim. There is also trim around the wheel wells and the body panels all the way out to the back tailgate. The tail lights are transparent red and the headlights are clear with LED lights already fitted from the factory.

The Chevrolet K10 Hardbody High Trail Edition is available in two colors: blue and red.
Traxxas TRX-4 High Trail Edition: A Closer Look
Exterior
The Traxxas TRX-4 High Trail Edition is a formidable off-road vehicle, boasting a unique look with Cheyenne decals on the fenders and 8-hole chrome mag wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS tires. The larger diameter tires give the truck extra ground clearance and a soft tread to help it tear through mud and other terrain.
Underneath the Body
Underneath the body, the TRX-4 High Trail Edition features LED lights and a clip system. The TRX4 chassis is slightly different from the original, with new bumpers and an extended frame rail setup to accommodate the new dimensions of the truck. The same skid and battery tray are present, but the shock towers are much lower than the original, helping to give the truck its lift.
Drivetrain
The drivetrain of the TRX-4 High Trail Edition features a center-mounted transmission setup with plastic gears and bushings, as well as slider drive shafts down to the front and rear axles. The front axle is equipped with GTS oil-filled shocks.

Chrome Diff Covers
The Traxxas K10 High Trail Edition features front and rear axles with Chrome diff covers. The metal universals on the outside bushings are Stout Knuckles, and the center mounted steering link gives up to 45 degrees of steering.
Electronics
The truck is equipped with a heavy duty micro steering servo with a metal output gear, a Titan 180 87 turn motor, and a two in one ECM, 2.5 receiver, speed controller combo. The Traxxas 2s LiPo battery comes with it, and the radio system is the TQ version.
Handling
The truck still handles very well, even though it is a bit higher. It should have a higher CG and may want to tip a bit more because of the longer wheelbase, but it still makes the handle well and is a lot of fun to drive. The tires on this truck grip well and give it extra ground clearance.
