If you can see it over that sun is that coming down. The runway is the tecnam 2010 by arrows, rc and uh. She is a. She is a plug and play plane. Let’S get our uh control service check. I just did my range test, so we got right, we got left, we got up, we got down, got right and we got left and we got flaps that’s landing, flaps there’s, takeoff, flaps and there’s flaps up. So we got no wind, no wind, no wind! Look at that flag right there, nothing, no wind, wet conditions because it rained, i think, in the middle of the night and along with the dew but she’s a tricycle gear. So we’re gon na go ahead and take off put our flaps up and we’re gon na fly all over here in this area, because that wind that sun will absolutely blind you absolutely blind you. This is another one of those great here, i’m doing a kind of a coordinated flat turn there, oh that’s so fun to do, and it looks so cool to see a plane. Turning almost two dimensionally like that and uh, that is cool. All right. You’Re gon na have to have some flaps, because i just i have no wind. I have nothing to slow me down so a little bit of Laughter, but she does slow down pretty good let’s see if we can fly take off again and we’ll avoid the sun.
I’M – the only one here so i’m gon na i’m, going to run the risk and uh fly over the club there. I don’t have anybody else there, all right, we’re going to land this time with no flaps. You saw that landing same amount of throttle. This time. No flaps and a considerable difference very much considerable difference there, all right this time, we’ll land with takeoff flaps, and you can see the difference there now just so. You know that you have uh 9 gram servos all around, except for the nose servo. It is a 13 gram and it is a metal geared servo, because you have such tremendous uh impact on that nose gear, because the way it’s turned the way it’s constructed. They realize that they need to give you a good, strong gear, now i’m, coming in with just a little more throttle than before. Laughter as you can see, she can be aerobatic fly away from the sun there. So, but, like any other plane, when you come in for a landing, you don’t you don’t want to come in absolutely dead. Stick if you can avoid it. I at least come in at least eight throttle at least eighth of a throttle, and you can see with those flaps down she flow. She slows right down with no problem there knife edge there, no problem, no problem at all, as you can see, she’ll fly inverted for you, i’m, just just not a big fan of inverted time flight.
Three minutes now she doesn’t have. She only has the two lights: uh there’s, the the red and the red and the green navigation lights. Music we’ll just hit we’ll just touch down and gun it. This time, we’ll make a longer approach and we’ll come in with no flaps this time um just so. You know she comes with the vector um stabilization system, gyro yeah i’m, coming in too hot see, and you have three modes. You have absolutely no gyro, which is just no gyro. You have dynamic mode, which is what i’m in now, which is the same as e flight’s um as3x, just to help you with this. You know dealing with wind and outside forces, and then you have auto level which for the beginner, and so you have to provide your own receiver it’s, not a receiver, it’s, just simply a a gyro but it’s already – and this is, it is already um plugged in For you, all you have to do is just plug in the provided wires into your receiver and it’s it’s it’s. They have everything. Labeled now see. Look real close at that i’m going to turn the motor off look real close at that nose gear see how that that front gear is angled, and now the the axis is turning at the front of the wheel. That would be very taxing on a smaller um. Nine grams servo, so they realize that we’re gon na put a metal gram, a metal, a metal gram, we’re gon na put in a metal, servo and we’re gon na make a 13 gram at that.
So it’s a big honking, strong, servo and uh now we’re, starting to get a little bit of wind coming right at me, so i’m, actually landing with the wind right now, which really you shouldn’t do, but something what up? What? If that was the club rules? You know you can only land them from one direction: Music. Some some uh clubs are like that. You’Re only allowed to land one direction so and i’m, not talking about a boy band, ha ha ha so, but we’re going into the wind this time. So really, i probably could lose my flaps, not a very strong wind though okay, you. What, since, since we’re, we have a little bit of wind i’m going to try this landing again, this time no flaps, i will give it a little bit more of an approach. Stay away from the evil power lines. Try to make my approach as shallow and gentle as possible. I’Ve got no little bit of wind to help me. Oh yeah, i like that, and just so you know, i’m running a 3300 3s enter. I think we’re going to do that again. A 3300 3s, pretty big, 3s Music Laughter time is four seconds left on a five minute. Whoa time expired, so we had five exactly a full five minute flight well hold on. This is what you want to hear before you touch it. Motor off motor off, okay, let’s, take her over here to the bench, and once again i left my battery checker.
I just itch: i’ve got to get out of that high, but habit. I got to start putting it in my pocket man, but uh anyways let’s go back here, she’s, a top feeder and so that’s cool the only mod i’ve done to this plane, and i will show you motors off. Is i didn’t like how this latch it’s just spring it’s, just loaded by it’s, just by the plastic there and you have to make sure it engages and when i first started flying it? I know if i had a real hard bump that it would pop up it. Wouldn’T come off, it would pop up and i was afraid it would come out. So what i did was you pull that back and i put some rare earth magnets and some pieces of metal right in there now she ain’t coming back coming off, so let’s see what we got in the way of battery look. Okay, just bear with me bear with me: i swear i’m, not trying to bore. You probably am, but you know all right, like i said: that’s an hrb 3300 with a 60c discharge and uh 57 57. You know what i don’t think i don’t necessarily know. If that was a no, that was a seven minute, timer seven minutes and two seconds and i got still got 57 58 57 58 percent left on a 3300 folks. This is a great plane, absolutely great plane. Now folks, i’m gon na tell y’all something hobby zone on july 7th, like all the other manufacturers, i think they’re, the last to do it are gon na have to raise their prices because of a myriad of different things have happened.
The past you know years or past couple years between, i guess it was tariffs coronavirus. All the different things that’s been going on has infected infected well it’s infected but affected parts, availability, shipping, all the different aspects that go into making these planes and just have to drive the cost it’s. Not it is not horizon hobby e flight hobby zone, arrows it’s, not them being money, hungry, it’s, just them trying to pay their employees and stay in business to keep up with the different costs. So folks, please understand that they’re not doing it on purpose. If it was one company and no one else, then i might say yeah but no it’s, everybody everyone’s being affected. But my point is until july 7th most of the arrows rsc planes are staying at their original price, but they’re all going to go up 10 to 20 percent. Maybe maybe not quite that much well like their their trojan. Their 1.1 meter trojan that is 199 is now going to be 2′ or 229 it’s gon na be yeah 229., so it’s going to go up 30 dollars. So what is that? 15? 15. Almost 20 percent, this one’s gon na go up. I think 30. they’re all going to go up so folks, if you’re one, if you’re in the market for a arrows airplane now is the time to buy until july 7th 2021.. Well then, there you still get them, but you’re going to be paying the new or increased price so get on the computer.
