Tæt kig på DR 10 og Traxxas/træk bil

I apologize for the glare that’s coming off my uh banner back there, but anyway uh. What i have on the table today is um it’s new, but it’s still, i guess been out for a few months already, but the dr 10 uh drag car by team associates um, really cool car. This is a reshoot video just because my first video on the box opening for some reason, absolutely had no sound so i’m, using my iphone right now to shoot this so anyway. What i wanted to show you, what i was trying to show you on the first video um is all the features of the car. I mean you know, it’s got the wheelie bar and it comes with two extra wheels. It’S got the slicks, the water resistant, Um, receiver box and it’s also brushless, so that means it’s going to run 3300 kv motor in it, which is waterproof um, but the actual receiver is water resistant. Just because it’s got a fan on it. Um it’s got some metal shocks, det er, det er, pretty cold it’s, got adjustment on the turnbuckles, um and so forth. So let’s just go ahead and move on to this part open the box yeah on the first one i cut the seal and so forth. So what first comes in the box is your bag of goodies and it has a zip lock. You can open it up and basically take everything out of the ziploc and i’ll show you.

What we got here is a booklet instruction manual on your radio. Receiver goes over certain things, you’re going to need to know about this car, so you will need to read this because there are certain adjustments on that radio um will help you so forth. Um there’s also a little pamphlet here on the esc, as well as on the motor another people and then, Selvfølgelig, um the decals. If you want to put them on your body, i’m kind of digging the clean look, so i may not put them on there and, Selvfølgelig, here’s your instruction manual on how to fix things and complete breakdown of the car, which i’ll show you a couple pictures Here, real quick, showing you the part numbers and everything and where they go so pretty cool and, Selvfølgelig, this certificate thing here so and of course, team association, team associate wouldn’t send out a vehicle without giving you a booklet on their different cars. They got like the element: the uh sorrento, the trail, walker, some of their buggies and even the drag car. So anything and then uh also it comes with some tools, tire tool, adjustment tool for your turn knuckles on here and, Selvfølgelig, a couple allen. Wrenches and then you got a bag of parts which looks like you have some body posts, some bigger wheelie bar wheels and, Selvfølgelig, the adjustments for the shock, the um spacer pieces. Um. You know the part, because your shocks on there does not have the screws.

You got to put the wedges in them all right, move on to the radio um. This is the xp 120 and i’ve already put batteries in it due to the fact that the uh, so there is a little red light – comes on the radio’s got steering reverse manual or yeah ford reverse. So if you want put another motor and it runs backwards, you can change it out same thing with your uh, your throttle, Um, steering and throttle then here’s your trims and here’s your dr um adjustments, where you can tweak it make it work right. So that is everything that’s there let’s move on to the car. So when you get the car there’s going to be some big tie, straps you’re going to have to cut loose the inner box to cut the tie, straps, which they’ve already been done, and then the car comes with this uh tie straps go in those little holes There so then um what else comes on the car? Is they put this clinging plastic stuff on there to keep from getting scratched up in transport or whatever? And of course we got the purple one um, pretty nice color. I love it. It’S very um, very shiny it’s got a like a uh like a glitter into it, and then the hood’s matte black, so there’s your spoiler on the rear um. The body is basically a. What do you call it? Um two piece body and what i mean by two piece body, is basically the um.

What do you call the um? For some reason, i can’t get my fingers to pull this pin, so small use my scissors to pull up, but this front part is separate and it’s holds on by screws on the side as well, which i can show you here as well. Those screws are here, and you can see the bumper and then they did give it a uh after they put the paint on. They gave it a coating which was awesome so that kind of makes the uh metallic sparkle. So let’s go ahead and look at the car some more so here you’re going to look at the chassis and what i wanted to do is show you a comparison now. The tires do look a little dirty because, som jeg sagde, i ran the truck not knowing that the uh, what we caught um, my video um, the audio in the video wasn’t working and very upsetting. So what i’m going to do is do a comparison, for you here is a traxxas. Now this is one that was a basically a uh. Slash that i converted and of course i had to change out the uh, the arms to bandits shorter adjustment knuckles, as well as the rear two, and this one is actually still running the volume. This is my son’s. I actually sold my other one and of course you can put the battery in here as well as put the battery in here.

I like the velcro better than i do this piece here for some reason um, but the new car does come with dean plugs. So if you don’t run deans you’re gon na you’ll have to change your mount or get an adapter one or the other um. I have an adapter on my battery here because i like to run the xt xt60s um shorty pack, and it comes with a rubber block here. So you can take this out if you were on a really long battery or if you want to move this back and move your battery forward. The other thing you’ll notice, different too, is where the servo is, so it was on top on this one um for you guys who have the slashes that are underneath in this chassis here um. So i mean there’s a few differences in this thing, but basically i noticed that this one for some reason, it’s just a little lower than this one here um the center lower center of gravity, is a little bit lower on this car. I mean you can make it lower on this. One too by you, know, wedging, Jeg ved, shorting out your shocks or whatever um here’s the metal shocks apologize for the dogs barking. I can’t do that about that and the wheelie bar now this car comes already ready for drag racing. Now it may not be as fast as you want it to be, and you may have to do some gear changing and some stuff, but out of the box it’s, ikke så dårligt, um running a 2 cell.

This one here does not come out of the box. Ready for drag racing so therefore you have to convert it now. A lot of guys do like to convert which is awesome. This is an aftermark wheelie bar which is really out of adjustment right now, because it’s too high up but uh. Så, as you can see the difference in the back um i’m kind of digging the shorter wheelie bar for some reason, i don’t know why the longer one for some reason, doesn’t look scale, although a lot of times when you’re, these guys are racing out there, you Don’T care about scale, they want to go um your axles here, your your drive axles. Basically um are metal on this one where these are plastic, um and they’re dog bone type on there as well here’s, the smaller wheelies. As you can see here, and of course you come for the bigger ones so um, this is pretty much the adjusted the car you can see, here’s the esc, receiver box off and on switch servo and so forth, Um, and it also has a front bumper for Impact just in case you were to hit and it’s got the little oval here to absorb the impact um, but anyway the united shocks seem to be pretty decent. This doesn’t have much squat to it. The front does um. So if you don’t like that much movement, you can always lower down or put a piece of uh tubing in here and keep it from doing it.

That’S kind of like what happened to this car here, Det er, why it doesn’t go down as much, because i got tubing in the uh shocks to keep it from squatting too much, men alligevel, this is the car. Jeg ved, som jeg sagde, uh i’m, not disappointed in it. I again did run it before um. I had to do to redo the box opening and uh. So far i think it’s a it’s a great little car um. I run a shorty pack uh. This one’s like a little uh two cell 4, 600 100 C, and you put it under the velcro here and slide it in and, Selvfølgelig, that does not come with the car. Neither does these batteries. I can get this open. These are these batteries, so you have to put batteries in your receiver. I mean in your radio and um and of course you would have to have a battery for your car so, som jeg sagde, it’s ready to run as long as you have your own batteries. So that’s pretty much it um. Okay, move the slash out of the way or the uh traxxas one out of the way and go ahead and pop the body back on here literally goes on pretty good, so there it goes once you get the back on the front falls right on. I love the stance of the car. I love the color of the car and you’ll see on the video that uh.

I love the part of the uh. I love the color again we’re going to be working on getting this car uh going a little faster and also we’ll, be using this to check the speeds on it and that’ll be on the next video for now um. For now, this is pretty much it so there’s, more video shot with the gopro coming up, as well as the driving one where we take it out onto the street. So again, thank you for watching all right. So basically, a little push tab here to open up this thing here and put my batteries in and put this in and, Selvfølgelig, and of course put your cover back on, Okay, oh there, it goes, and so your power button is basically back here and turn It on you got a little light on. It shows you it’s on really cool, looking little mimic wheel with a brake caliper in there and so forth. All right. So i got me a little shorty pack here, i’m gon na put this up on the stand. So if it does take off or whatever it’s, not going anywhere, så dette er en 7.4 Volt, 4600 100C. So this is for what i’ve been using for drag racing and uh this battery to fit in here these wires up and push down now, the only difference is, i run a different battery end on the actual battery, so i have an adapter right now, Jeg er, going To use oh that’s wrong one, then you get the right adapter.

These adapters are a little tougher. Okay, so plug the battery in and we’re going to power it up and, som du kan se, hold on to a little bit. Definitely changing some gear ratios on this, because it’s just really slow, Godt, Lad os, take it out on the street and see what we got holy cow thing. Actually moves pretty good didn’t feel like it was that strong, Musik, Hmm, så Musik, All right, let’s see Music Music. So well there, it is guys um, the dr 10 for team associates um it’s actually doing pretty good. This is it so.
