I tried to remove the old battery and the whole key crumbled into pieces 😑
The stupid front buttons are just placed in the key. They stay in place by pressure nothing else. So be careful trying to take the battery out. You will have a puzzle to put back together if you dont. FmL😫

Thank you to all involved in this production. My blood pressure was reaching critical levels til I found this. This is the only video out of 4 that I watched that includes where EXACTLY the screwdriver goes to pry open.
I changed the battery on both my key fabs quicker than watching your video. The dealership would have charged me 10.99 per fab. I bought a pack of the batteries off amazon for 5.99. You saved me show much money. Its a scam on how the dealership charges that much for something so simple.
You don't need the screw driver for this. The key that is in the fob works just fine to pry the case apart.

Tak. Very hard getting battery out and whole thing fell apart, but the pieces were easy to put back together and it worked. Saved $30.00 at the dealership. I used a penny to open it.

Tak! I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to open the body of the key fob. Once I watched, it was easy!
Another thank you. I'm wondering, how long the fob battery lasts? One of two remote keys. One is fine, the other has the light flashing but I can still get the horn to go off (panic mode) from a block away. So I'm curious to find out how early in the battery's life the blinker begins to flash.
