Stay tuned all right. So here we have our am crush monster, truck a couple different colors, and then we have the ecx ruckus. These are all made by ecx, which is part of horizon hobby. So the cool thing about these trucks is not only are they affordable? They come in at 150 and i know we know there’s a bunch of cars out there that you can get under 150 under 100, but these are one tenth scale, so you’re gon na get that cool big size that you know, especially kids, love and since they’re A horizon hobby product you’re, going to get a ton of after market parts and accessibility to parts. You can go pretty much any hobby shop and pick up a part for either one of these trucks. All three of these trucks are 150 for each one. The ruckus here is more like your street basher, you have the speed treads on it and then your monster trucks are more of like your bashers and then the nice thing about these tires is they help. Add shock absorption for bigger jumps. You can see this one here hit a mailbox at full speed, Fast 30 Meilen pro Stunde, but the nice thing about these is they’re. Super durable avery’s had this truck for a year and hasn’t really broken anything on it. A couple pieces. You know maybe a couple dollars to fix, but nothing major comes with a brushed motor in the rear and it’s.
A very, very simple truck parts are cheap for these things, they’re very easy to work on yeah very easy to work on they’re, a great beginner truck. If you’re getting your kid, a truck they’re super easy to work on, they can learn. So the ruckus comes with the stx2, which is a larger remote transmitter, and then the amp crushes come with more of a basic remote still have all your functions. Your trims throttle control and then you also have your throttle setting. You can go from 50, 75 Und 100. So if you have a child or a newbie, or if you want to let your friend borrow it bump it down to 50 Oder 75 and let them get used to it so here’s your nickel metal, hydrate, the battery that comes with the amp crush in the Box it’s an 1800 nickel metal, speed pack, your simple ec3, connector and here’s the charger. This uh. We recommend upgrading to your um to a different charger. We recommend the sport mini it’s, a dynamite, sport mini charging up to four amps. You can charge the lipo nickel, metal and all your others. This will take about like four to five hours. It’S really long, pretty much. The best upgrade battery will be your five venom. Five thousand milliamp nickel metal hydride pack a lot more speed, a lot more power. Longer run time, it’s a good upgrade. The ruckus does not come ready to run with a battery but here’s a battery that we recommend it’s a lipo, 2s 5000 milliamp 30c plenty of speed and power.
This 2s is probably going to get you about. 20. 30 minutes solid runtime just to add this is not a sponsorship we’re not paid by horizon hobby, or anything like that. This is just our own opinion on what we feel is the best entry level rc. We see a lot of comments and questions on uh forums and facebook. You know what’s the best entry level rc under 100 bucks under 150 under 200 for my four year old or my eight year old or my 10 Jahr alt. They don’t need a 3s brushless system right yeah, wie es gibt, no reason to spend 300 bucks on an rc car discluding the battery, because if your kid doesn’t like the hobby you’re wasting your 300 Dollar, buy something that’s a more affordable um, not very very fast. Just more entry level so that they can get a feel for the hobby and see if they like it or not, and uh yeah and these trucks are a blast i mean even for grown ups. I mean these are fun. These push 30 miles an hour easy on the you know the brushed motor if it’s got the upgraded esc in it, it’ll take a 2s light bulb, which is nice because then you’ll get longer run time and a little bit more speed, but yeah anyway, you can Change from nickel metal to lipo by just moving the plug here and that’s, usually the esc that comes in the ruckus, so yeah speed is not an issue with these, especially for a beginner.
I mean these are plenty fast, they’re durable. You can send them off pretty good size, good size, jumps and um, like we said before. They’Re all upgradable, this one here you put a aluminum arms on, but the a arms are really cheap on these just a couple dollars shocks. Everything is easy to work on. Yeah they have crushed no upgrades except the metal gear transmission that’s, pretty much a must have for these, because the gears will strip out if you’re like, reversing and then full throttling it like instantly. They will strip out pretty easily that’s pretty much a must have upgrade um a arms on the ruckus. They usually tend to pop out or break so probably get those aluminum. This the ruckus comes stock with a 15 turn motor and then the amp crush comes with a 20 drehen. We upgraded this one to a titan 12 drehen, though the pretty much the rest of its stock does have no gears in it yeah it does and then aluminum arms. This is stock with the gears with the metal gears and then yeah so yeah guys like we said if you’re looking for a beginner rc, something under 150 175 200, and this is ready to run so these come with batteries. The ruckus, i don’t think it did right; Nein, it did not yeah, but the amp crushes they come with batteries, charge them uh. They even come with chargers, so you just plug them in charge them and then you’re ready to drive.
You don’t have to spend an extra 50 60 70 on a battery, especially if it’s a lipo, so yeah that’s just kind of our thoughts and our opinions. We wanted to make this video because there’s a lot of people out there with questions like that. So we just felt we wanted to share our thoughts on this ecx amp crush by verizon hobby. You can’t go wrong for beginners for kids, even for adults, sie sind, awesome trucks, one tenth scale, so sind sie, really big yeah. Anything else.
