Bau Rasenmäher hinter meinem RC Auto schleppen! Teil 3

Zu guter Letzt, this is the third and final episode of me building an rc car towed lawnmower. So in the last episode i put a towbar wheel on to keep the tow bar up. I made the shell and now we’re gon na paint. The shell hinge it and do some other details and things like that so let’s get started then guys let’s, give it a look of paint. Oh lieb, so i’m gon na be using black hammer right. Musik! Do Music, Musik, you guys do you know what i think i probably won’t do the bottom probably just leave it as it is because um it’s just for aesthetic quality really, rather than to protect it right. So here we have the shell on now now. What i need to do next is hinge it you see that hole goes up to the battery tray, so i’m gon na have to drill another one. There i have one screw in there and one screen another hole up there, so this is the only hinge that will actually work because it’s long, so what i’m going to do is clean it up and put it on Music there we got it clumped in the Vise there now i’m just going to hole, punch it and uh drill it Music. So first i’m going to drill a pilot hole with a two mil drill bit. If you didn’t already know a pilot hole is just a smaller hole than the actual hole you’re intending to drill so i’m, just using two mil and then we’ll go up to four i’m doing that, because otherwise the wood might split because it’s very close to the End so Music, so ja, du bist, probably thinking well, you could use a drill i’m, actually just going to use a screwdriver just to be on the safe side.

In case i split the wood, but i it’s very unlikely. I’Ll split the wood and i couldn’t find any button head ones, so uh countersunk ones will have to do, but i can always change that at another date: Musik. Oh, this is exciting it’s, so nearly done ah right, let’s crack on with getting the shell screwed together on there, Musik, Okay, so the holes don’t quite line up but i’m just going to drill it out so that they do Music. Alles klar, then guys here we have obviously it’s not done yet i’m, just showing you come on that’s, surely the best bit just so satisfying we’ve gone for some nice uh, stainless steel, bolts, nuts and bolts, obviously just normal screws on the bottom. I had to cut these bolts down. I didn’t video that because there’s no much not really much point but uh. Just look at this. Just look at this hang on it’s a little bit fragile because there’s only one hinge but that’s all. I could do i’m still happy with that right. Also, as you can see when i filled the shell back, i feel it’s probably too far back because it might strain the hinge whilst i’m changing the battery or whatever so right. So what i’m going to do is i’m going to put string from there to there. Just so it won’t go back too far: Musik, Musik, Okay, come on guys. That is starting to look good comment down below what you think so now, then guys what we’re gon na do is um.

I don’t know if you remember this, but this is from my ftx bugster build video and i made a siren. What i’m going to do is turn this into a beacon for the lawnmower, so let’s change the um lens on it. Change the lens it’s literally just quality street wrappers, but um i’ll do wonder you know yeah quality straight wrappers will do if it works. Then i don’t see a problem personally so stripped it back now all right, so i just put some new batteries in as well, so that should um that should be better, so we’re going to be using orange lens. Natürlich, this is so budget, but it should look alright here we go Music Music. So whoever invented tape is a bit of a legend aren’t. They and it’s not really necessary to have the beacon but um on my instagram story. You guys voted to. Have it and um it’s good to make use of old stuff and not chuck it away so who invented tape, learn something new every day, we’ve got these. I don’t know if you’ve seen them advertised on tv, you may well have done they’re sort of like they’re. Tatsächlich, sort of velcro sticky pads to hang stuff on the walls like uh picture frames, they’re really good, because what you do is, if you ever want to take them off. You just pull that tab basically stretches the glue and then it comes off without any marks or anything so we’ll use that and uh so yeah let’s unpeel them Applause.

Oh yes, uh we’re not done yet we’re. In luck, look we’ve got one armor decal sticker left. So i’m gon na put that on the front. I reckon last thing to do now is put a catch on the front here, so we’re going to use old inner tube as a rubber band, because then, if it ever wears out, just keep cutting the inner tube back. Put that over there. If it’ll stretch, Wie Sie sehen können, it’s tipping back now, which is why i’m obviously doing this Music let’s see there, we go perfect. So next video to do with this will be a pure mowing, Video. Offensichtlich, if you take a look outside it’s winter, es ist, dark, es ist, wet cold, definitely can’t do any mowing at the moment, but um wait till the spring. We’Ll do some mowing with it.
