Doctor Who 12th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver Universal Remote Review
sonic screwdriver a few years ago. It was released with this plastic stand and it could control all your TV and anything basically that had IR, Aber, unlike the actual screwdriver, you couldn’t flick it, and this was disappointing as this is why the main key features of this screwdriver on the show, the one Company have chosen to address this by regenerating the screwdriver in a second version, the big difference here being the second version is flickable le opens up really nicely. The one company generally provides a really good all around experience, and so I was a little disappointed by the very basic cardboard box. You do also get a stand, and again this is a little disappointing. The 10th sonic had a really nice metal stand. This is just a plastic stand, it does the job. Okay, it just doesn’t have that premium feel to it that the 10th sonic stand did, although I do think it’s an improvement over the original stand. That was quite bulky in comparison. You also get the manual included, and this explains all about the various features and functions how to program it, how to use the lock feature and on the back is gossiped, hey giant blueprint diagram, which is pretty cool. The screwdriver itself is really nice looking. It feels really good in the hands really good weight to it, and it now has a button on the middle section rather than on the ends as per the previous generation, and this works much better when in use annoyingly, we haven’t upgraded this to be USB charge.
You actually have to use an actual screwdriver unscrew, the screws take off the collar and eventually you can pop in a couple of triple a batteries to power. This it’s a real shame. This hasn’t been upgraded to USPS, pervert enth, dr. sonic or even the fazer remote. That came out recently that that’s much better you don’t, have to go back through the process, put the screws back in and rescrew on the collar. The entire process only takes a few minutes, but this is a few minutes more than needed to. If this was charged by USB, you get various modes and they’re all controlled by this button. Little, if you do plan on using this, the quiet control mode is essential, as it means your fire up commands without these sound effects. To close this, all you do is hold on to the top and pop it back in, and that locks back down it’s worth listening, it’s not supposed to be used in control mode while extended. Es gibt 13 gestures. Three memory banks must ‘ remote controls. That can be assigned to program. You do the gesture and press the corresponding button on the remote once completed. One of you do the gesture or fire up the accustomed in command. So you see why you need quiet control mode, otherwise it gets quite noisy but hey Here. I am just controlling TiVo and controlling the menu bar going up down left right. If I push it in, I can select something change the load and I can now control my amp as well as the TiVo, so I can pause this rewind it to play its fast forward.
I can control everything that I would do on the normal remotes, but now as well. I can also control my amp. I can unmute it and I can remute it takes a while to get a hang of all the gestures there’s. Quite a few of them with the trickier ones being the clockwise intense clockwise disease play slowly well, you do get a good range and can assign the most frequently used things to the easiest ones, and then you may have maybe a menu button to these tap on The sides – Okay, is good for forwards and backwards volume up and down might be flick it up get down. You have to experiment and seeing this is why it’s really good that there’s three modes there’s a nice little extra in the form of some Morse code. That is spaced house. If you leave this in FX mode and just standing up still after minutes, it will start beeping away. Also, Insgesamt, the one completely have produced another great products, although it is a little disappointing that the upgrades have only really gone into the flick action. It’D be great seer, USB charger and a better quality stand such as the one you got with the tenth Sonic.

These now don't exist, only the 11th doctor one does. Really annoying because I have to settle for one that doesnt flick…
This has secrets on it ive done a vid on it a while ago as it has some more functions than u think
Why is the uk link out of stock 🙁
Mine turns off every time it flicks open
They gave a regular cardboard box and clear plastic stand and didn't have USB charger to keep the price down
The first sonic screw driver with the stand is actually matt smiths not the 12ths one the next one is the 12th version
saw this ideo on amazon
gonna get this for my birthday i can't wait.
Ii can't whet in till I get my sonic
you forgot tv b gone mode
how do you stop the sonic from flicking out when I turn it upside down
hey I'd like to know if there is a TV begone mode like with the 10th doctor's screwdriver.
Just got mine today. It doesn't seem to lock very securely and will open up with very little force. like holding it upside down and giving a little wiggle. Just wondering if yours is like that or is it pretty secure. thanks and nice video.
I think I would prefer the batteries because then you don't have to wait an hour to use it again. I think that's why they didn't use recharging. Eins, because it's inefficient, as with it, the 10th sonic only lasted for a little while of use, and because it's a lot slower. They had to use it though, because it was the only way to efficiently power a device that requires that much power, that is so small.
Anyone notice the silent mode click sounds just like the UI click in Minecraft?
So many reviews out now. I wish they were out when I was waiting for mine to come in the mail lol.
I think the only reason I want this is for the replica feel…. Auch, I wish they kept the milky blue tip.
when you flick it, did the green part dons show, why???
i really want to get a sonic remota and i cant decide between 10 Und 12 what one do you think is better?
In order to do the upgrades they downgraded the stand so they could sell it at the same price.
Do you find the extending feature a bit loose, with it opening just holding it upside-down
Das ist so cool!
