I know this is late to comment I've had 2 of these systems got them when Circuit city was going under had to order replacement remote couldn't remember how to proceed but this vid was on point.

Our remote was sat on. Remote will turn on & Aus, but won't change channels. Just stays on 1 Kanal. When trying to change channel message on screen says ' not available'. Volume is working. Any ideas how to fix it?

Thank you much for the video, my remote was not accepting the choice after set up and all lights blink, they all stayed lit when I wanted to choose tv.
To fix that: I turn the batteries to the wrong polarity and click ones, tried again and all working properly 🙂
