I made a video camera to put inside or tape to the roof of a rc car or drone or whatever . I made it from a $15 camera drone . Cut the motor wires , and cut off the led lights , the motor arms off , tape all the wire ends and connect the phone app for the drone . I use the $2 vr goggles from walmart . Weee. The camera range goes up to 100 ft. Or more without the drone motors running .

You should test and see if letting a glue dry slightly and get tacky creates a stronger bond before gluing something together. I know that some contact cements (like in leather work) recommend this method.

Considering that just a decent RC car will cost you well over $100. A $10 car is….. You get what you pay for
Easy fox for thos would be to buy a higher voltage battery pack that would burn put the motors faster but provide better torque and speed. Also might help to screw in the battery door so it doesn't constantly fall out
