Hows the spund quality on theese radios? Im sceptical about getting this over a alpine or kenwood or pioneer… but I need the app radio function for ipad mink
i ve just installee 2.0.10 version on my iphone 4s, the "sound" option is still missing… quite disapointed
They did that and couldn't do something as basic as fixing the resolution for the iPad? The resolution still looks like the blown up 2x. Such a shame. Sony seems to be oblivious to the reason people are using this app.
I have DSP on and Loud On and ASL off. Loud on gives me that extra bass that I need for hip hop. Do you have soundcheck on in the iPad iPOD app settings?
On my mine loud off , dsp on, asl off. Asl is to level out volume between sources. As for Bluetooth pairing I haven't tried at the same time
Questions for those of you with a system like this:
1- Any issues getting the sound output of your tablet to sound amazing with the Sony Head Unit? I still cant figure out what the best settings are for this pairing. (Loud on or off? DSP on or off? ASL on or off? Sound check on Ipad on or off? Etc.)
2- Are you able to get an iPhone and IPad to pair via bluetooth at the same time? I cant.
In meinem Fall, I have the headunit mounted behind the Ipad Mini. The head unit turns on with the car and all I have to do is slide the Ipad Mini in place (see my videos). Also, not sure why you have to poke at the radio and I dont. Are you using the MEX-GS600BT?
yeah the description is misleading on the app store, hope sony pays attention to us on the reviews and fixes it. or atleast tells what new models will support this
What tablet do you have? is it an android device? I was thinking to a new nexus 7 tablet to control wireless, and just sync with bluetooth,
I have the iPad Mini installed over the gs600bt (check my videos) and cant equalize while I hear the music unless I plug in an iPod Touch so I can access the head unit that goes behind the iPad Mini.
I updated today and also just have the volume option. I didn't even know about the future possible settings updates until I saw this. The app description in iTunes lists a bunch of compatible devices but then also adds a (*1) to say they dont include custom sound settings, something's off.
