I believe traxxas are making three times the sales that they were a year ago, because a lot of people at home with time on their hands, so they’re going out and playing with rc cars. What are you talking about rich? Where are you coming from what i’m going to talk about and show you the car that i think is going to cause the two big players, the biggest problem over the coming few months? I do appreciate a little bit of this might be quite contentious, aber ich werde. Try and put my thought process and reasoning behind why i’m thinking what i’m thinking about this particular car, the one in my hand, is not the car i’m going to be talking about at any length. This is a wltoys one, Zwei, vier Null eins: Neun, which was like an extended version of the hugely popular double toys; ein vier, Vier: zero zero, one of which, in one of the very early videos that i made of the one four four zero zero one. I said if they ever make a 110 Skala. At this price, competitor it’s got with the armor range, is the typhon 4×4 mega at 229.99, or the typhoon 4×4 3sblx at 319, and it tracks us here. We have the slash 4×4 Auf 319. Gut, the slash 4×4 has an old plastic drivetrain, including plastic driveshafts, and both the armor typhoon, 4×4 3s blx and the typhoon 4×4 mega have also both got plastic. All round metal and turn buckles, which are fully adjustable now, you’re thinking rich that’s, just like a one, vier vier: Null, zero one but larger, and you might be thinking that when you’re looking at the full length metal chassis. But then you look at the interior of the car complete redesign. It still looks like a combined esc and receiver in here, which means this is probably a five wire servo, not a three wire servo, but that looks to be a conventional size servo as opposed to a micro servo.

So that would be fairly easy to swap out. You could put separate receiver at the back of it here, change that out for a brushless, esc and brushless motor combo for around 45 55 bucks from amazon and you’ve probably got a car that’s going to be doing somewhere in the region of 60 An 65 Meilen. An hour for under 200 bucks with an all metal drive train and an all metal chassis. Now can you begin to see where my logic is coming from and i think this car could be a threat. Despairs could possibly be its biggest downfall, but i think the aftermarket is going to jump all over this car and be producing hop ups and upgrades for it and, whilst i’ve broken and bent more than a few bits on my smaller double toys, Autos. That is because, in the main i’ve been running them as speed run cars. Ich denke, if you’re just running this, the conventional speed what it was designed for, then i think it should prove to be fairly tough. Tatsächlich, with that all metal construction on there and it’s got a nice racy, look to it as well, to my mind and if it’s like any of the other wl toys, cars we’re, likely to see front metal, cvd drive shafts on here as well. I think you can’t ignore that price point of under 155 for a car it’s got an all all metal, Chassis, Metall, threaded sharks and a metal drivetrain taboo, Sehr, very easy to upgrade this car to brushless and make it super fast for not a lot of money. Anybody out there that has not owned a zero zero one or a one. Zwei vier: Null eins: nine you don’t know what you’re missing as they get a huge bang for the buck and a great cause very easy to work on super lightweight, which makes them go ridiculously fast if you want to do speed, runs with them.

So i think i can see that heading 30 miles an hour straight out of the box. Now the big thing and i’m sure people will argue is the spare parts. That is the sticking point with the wltoys cars with traxxas and armor you’re buying great products in terms of the distribution of the spare parts, particularly over here in the usa. The wltoys parts are a little bit harder to get hold of, but they are ridiculously cheap. I mean stupid, they make armor and traxxas look ridiculously expensive in comparison. You know i mentioned and showed you the one zero four zero zero one has got a lot of metal parts on. It is all the metal super strong like an armor, nein, es ist. Not. I will call it like it is things like the uh shock towers, both front and rear if they take a hard hit, will bend a little bit and i’ve broken. Quite a few things on my speed run cars on the dibble toys range.

Das heißt,, the crashes that i’ve had the car has been doing two or three times over the stock speed. So things like this traxxas is probably going to bend and break just the same as an armor would do if you’re pushing it two or three times over what it was designed for. But the one thing i would say is the chassis on these things is absolutely bulletproof. You can run this into a brick wall and it won’t bend because of that pressed ridge profile down. The side seems to take a bit extra strength on there and it’s fairly thick on there, aber trotzdem, just right throughout my point. Warum? I think this is the biggest danger to traxxas and armor. The main issue with this car is gon na, be the spare parts for it. I would pay attention when people first get one of these as to what is breaking on the car if you’re gon na go and order one order, some of the parts that are done well breaking on the thing. You can have a car which is maybe going to be comparable to a traxxas vxl you’re, going to have a car which is maybe going to be comparable to a traxxas, 4×4 vxl or an arma or an armor 3s for a fraction of the price. Definitely something worth considering on this one, and when i get one and when i get mine i will be doing a budget conversion i’m not going to go, throwing a man brax in there. Gut, i might do at some point but i’m going to do like a day today. What your blogs out there could afford to do and put in a car and let’s see how fast it goes gut feel is with a forty, five dollar brushless setup from gut feelings, with a 45 brushless setup from amazon or banggood, you could be looking at car, Which is gon na hit 55 An 60, which is fairly usable for most of it, which is fairly fast for most of us well thumbs up.
