It's kind of funny I ordered one of these the first time and the receiver was broken so I called Gator cover since they said it was a lifetime warranty I was like alright let's see if they live up to their word after sending them pictures and videos of the receiver did and remote was dead and all that other stuff no problem they sent me a brand new one I've been having this one on my truck now for 3 years and I absolutely love it. Another good thing about the the cover let's say that you're hauling some stuff instead of rope tying it or is it tying at or bungee cord you can put the gator cover all the way against the item to the tailgate and it securely in place. The only thing I'm trying to figure out is what's the lowest price they are now.

What is the difference from the "one" and the "pro" versions?
The stalling was cured by interfacing it to an external control system. Problem with the factory setup is that the receiver is inside the truck bed and becomes totally shielded, preventing most RF energy from getting to the antenna, when the cover is closed. This is a FACTORY DESIGN DEFECT.
Leaking is from many sources, not the least of which is the gaps in the body of the truck itself. If you get inside and close the cover on a bright sunny day, there is plenty of light for reading.
Of course it is normal…they should leak and not work. DUH no it is not normal…TAKE IT BACK and have them fix it!!!!
I have one. It stalls every time it opens or closes. It leaks water. Is this normal or can it be fixed? It was professionally installed.
