Someone who works with these keys. The coin is to open the black box on the inside. You just twist the coin, and it pops open. Opening each individual clip like that is completely pointless. Hope this helps in the future!

This process does work. If your FOB is not broken, this op will work. Did not affect the program. Once I reinstalled with the new battery, worked without any thing else.

I'm not sure I would have figured out how to get into the last compartment. Gracias. BTW, el 2014 RAV4 battery keeper has fingers/clips that wrap around the edges. The battery will slide out of these clips if pushed toward the rear so you don't break or bend one of them. I used a small screwdriver to get on the front end and it slid out — I slid the new one in the way the old one came out. Another tip: If you can avoid touching the new battery it will last longer because skin oil causes the battery to perhaps corrode, in any event build up resistance. I used a Nitrile Disposable Glove to handle the battery. They're about 14 cents each and have many uses.

Just a tip to get the actual battery out don’t pop it out like he does. The correct way is: if you look even in the video on one side there is a piece of metal that holds it down. Gently push it back and the battery will be released. Otherwise great vid thanks!
