Finalmente, getting to the lc racing. Four wheel drive buggy review. That thing has been sitting in the background for quite some time. I know a bunch of you have been waiting for the video, an rc driver, contributor dean. Berry stepped up to do the review and jeff from 413rc volunteered to do the video work and editing which came out awesome so check out the review what’s going on everybody, it’s dean with rc driver hope, you’re all having a great day today, i’m coming to you From rc madness in enfield connecticut, where we just tested the lc racing 10b5, four wheel drive off road buggy. Lc racing is mostly known for their 12 escala y 14 scale mini racing vehicles and now they’ve made the jump to 10 Escala. Tracción a las cuatro ruedas, and i got ta say their first entry into this market is pretty darn good we’re, going to take a close look at this buggy then show you it in action. Música, Muy bien, let’s start off with the drivetrain of this vehicle. The lc racing 10v5 comes with front and rear gear differentials. They’Re fluid filled easily tunable by changing the fluid and at the center point of the car it comes with both a center slipper clutch and a center differential making it easily tunable to either high traction or low traction surfaces. Power is transferred from the center differential or slipper clutch to the front and rear differentials by way of cv, type drive, shafts cv, type drive.
Shafts are also used on all four corners, so the transfer of power throughout the vehicle is smooth and efficient. Talking about the suspension, it’s got plush shocks on all four corners that utilize aluminum caps, which i really like and bleeder valve screws at the top that makes building and rebuilding these shocks nice and easy. The shock bodies are also threaded, so you can just tighten them down to add some preload or loosen them up to loosen the preload on the shocks. Nice and simple. Also talking about the suspension, this kit comes with sway bars from the factory to help lower that body roll to help it corner nice and tight keeping with the front end of this vehicle. It’S got a four millimeter thick carbon fiber shock tower front. End of this car is going to take quite a bit of abuse, just like any vehicle would so they went with a millimeter thicker shock tower than in the rear, where there’s a three millimeter thick carbon fiber shock tower drawing from inspiration. Other four wheel drive racers on the market. There are lower chassis, braces on this vehicle, so there’s no upper deck. The chassis braces can be tightened to eliminate flex or loosened up a little bit to add flex to the chassis again to tune it to whether you’re on a high traction or low traction surface. The lc10b5 also comes with a dual bell: crank steering system. That is really smooth and efficient with a built in servo saver and the servo mount itself is of the floating variety.
Así que de nuevo, it’s only got one mounting point toward the center of the chassis, so it won’t tweak. This car is laid out with balance in mind. You’Ve got the battery on one side that could be adjusted forward and backward by about 10 millimeters with the motor on the left hand, side again very evenly balanced to help it be nimble and quick around the corners. All right let’s talk about some running gear. We want the tekken steering servo. This thing has an incredible amount of torque and speed more than enough to snap. These tires from side to side. We’Ve got an rsx speed, control and we’ve got a 13.5 turn motor from tkin all top of the line. Electronics that should make this buggy launch off the jumps and rip down the straightaway. We also went with a new wave battery. It’S got plenty of runtime and it’s going to well complement that power setup for incredible top speeds on all four corners. We went with pro line tires: proline is an industry leader in making tires, and the tires we put on this buggy are sure to hook up on the high traction carpet or astroturf to top everything off we sent the body off the custom, rc graphics, they did An amazing job painting this body for us, the body itself, has a cab forward designed to add down force really helping with high speed. Steering so we’ve told you everything about this car let’s see it on the track: Música, Música, Música, Aplausos musicales, así que aplausos, Música, Música, Aplausos, Música, muchachos, Música.
Así que está bien, this buggy is a ton of fun to drive. We raced it quite a bit here at rc. Madness on the track had some tumbles had some crashes and it’s really no worse for wear it hugs the corners really nicely it jumps. Bien, it lands plush with a little bit of tuning. I could see this vehicle being really competitive against most vehicles on the market. Competing for a win week in and week out hits it’s, Durable, it’s crashed a few times and it came back in one piece: nothing broke. Also again, como dije, the suspension is pretty plush. We had no problems with jumping. We had no problems with landing. It accelerates really fast, like a rocket and it tracks straight to talk about the misses just a little bit at the a b c and d blocks, where the a arms mount in there’s a little more slop than i’d like to see sure we could use a Few shims and take that slop out, but i do think that’s something elsie might want to work on i’d, also like to see them at a fan mount. We noticed the motor was getting a little bit warm after a couple runs, so i decided to put a rc madness cooling fan in it, but there’s no way to mount it really. So i just used some two sided tape so i’d like to see again. Lc. Add a fan mount to this vehicle.
en general, i got to give it two thumbs up: es, well priced it’s, Durable, es, Rápido, Música, all right everyone. I want to thank you for watching this video today. We hope you enjoyed it. If you did, please give it a like make sure you subscribe to our channel and click the notifications icon.
