Welcome back to channel welcome back to rc vlog whoo guys it was a long freaking weekend, two races one weekend i just got done editing getting caught up on orders by the way we are almost out of the last run, the camo, the black shirt, with the Camel msn with the outline we’re almost out of those. His name was bobby super nice guy. We chatted for a while and he was like hey. I want to give you something i want to give you a car, and i was like cool what kind of car is it i’m not going to spoil what kind of car does look at it, but guys i’m so excited about this car uh to rebuild it, And work on it, es que es, freaking, Impresionante. Hoy, i’m gon na show you guys we’re gon na go over the car we’re gon na see what it needs and i’m gon na show you guys the car and what i plan on doing with it. Oh man that looks so good anyways before i show you the car.

We have mail to open and also i got to show you these look at this. These look cool from the outside right, but look they messed it up. Ah hold on wait, wait there. We go oh, why would they only print it on one side? These are the lanyards for psycho nitro blast. So when you go to cycle nitro blast, they give you a badge and a lanyard. You have to wear that bat. You go up on the stand. I told dave the guys at uh race time entertainment that i would like to provide the lanyards, así que aquí están, but they messed them up. Afortunadamente, i ordered them super early, so yeah we’ll, uh we’ll have the right ones by the time the race happens, but nonetheless let’s go outside check the car out. Muy bien, i lied. I said we’re gon na go outside and check out the car now, but no we’re gon na open this mail up. I want every time i get mail. I want to open it right there, but i promise that i’ll open on the air. I got sometimes i have to read it first before i actually tell you what it is, because i don’t know how inappropriate it is.

I love this love. The um love the handwritten letters very nice all right, so this is from gary and essentially he’s saying he always he always enjoys my vids and content. Look forward to live programs whenever possible. So i’ve been talking about already and mentioned going up to iowa. He wants me to go up north a little bit further. Maybe minneapolis where we can meet up, maybe have some dinner anyways. He said there’s an awesome hobby shop, though up there called hub hobby uh. Great people got parts, bien, selection and uh. Él dice: if we have time we can check out, he has a backyard crawling course, so super cool um. He also asked me about battery maintenance and how i store and things like that for battery maintenance. I just make sure that i’ve got the battery ran down. I don’t ever store them fully charged and the batteries that like might puff or have a little bit of puff – or i feel like, are wrist at a risk of exploding. I put in the bat safe bat tapes are pretty awesome. I’Ll put a link in description below for a bat safe. I also travel with the bat safe when i’m running the car in the rv, just to make sure what it does it’s a box that if it does explode it filters out the air it’s a little bit it’s a little bit safer. But i just don’t store them fully charged that’s, all but big shout out to gary thanks for the letter super nice and yes, we will try to make it up even further.

Whenever i get closer to the time we’re going to do that trip, i will let everyone know, and everyone know where i’m going this one is from hank, but i got ta show you. Let me cover up his address. I almost got almost a little emotional reading it, but essentially um this gentleman’s name is hank and he’s. He had a business and the business ended up not working out. He needed to find a hobby. He went to rc uh because he wasn’t a hobby a long time ago, but he had a bad experience with lipo batteries um, but he ended up finding a hobby shop and he started kind of getting into it again. He started doing some research and he found my channel and he said my channel was the only one that he kept going back to uh because of the variety of content, and he said i had a great sense of humor, which is that’s awesome. Gracias. So much um i try to do all the content because i like to like there’s a whole bunch of cool stuff in the hobby and some people don’t realize some things are going on uh, but he also went on and talking about how he started following the Dirt nitro challenge and he started watching all these dirt nitro challenge videos and then what a person at his local hobby shop was that their nitro challenge – and you saw him on tv or on tv, but on live rc when he went um.

But now his wife got him a mini b, he’s thinking about getting into an actual, like start racing on the track, and he says that he’s he’s found his new hobby and he’s really excited a big shout out to him a super nice letter. I love letters like this hank. Let me know reach out to me. If you need anything, i said the only thing he didn’t like about me, which fair enough can’t like everything um, he said he didn’t like that. I was a cowboy fan. What can i do? I grew up in dallas i mean i i don’t to be fair. I don’t really like the cowboys, but i have to because i’m a dallas native sorry, but he said at least i’m, not a philly fan, so that’s good, all right so on to the car that was given to me. So when he first told me he was giving me a car honestly, i thought it was gon na be maybe like a rustler or a slash. You know one of the beginner models that maybe someone just doesn’t need anymore, that he wanted me to rebuild and maybe give it away. He said i can do whatever i want with it. I have some ideas with it, but then he told me what i love to hear when someone has a project car that i’m gon na work on. He said it was a revo, so i got all excited that it was a revo um, but i was a little reserved because i know some of those nitro revo’s man.

They require a lot of work but check out the revo that he gave me. Oh dang. He gave me an e revo 2.0. Oh, i saw i haven’t even taken the body off yet i wanted y’all to be part of the experience. Whenever i take the body off um also, he gave me it’s missing the rear wing. He gave me the rear wing right here, it’s missing servos, so he gave me the servos here. These are the older servos. I can tell this is the older e revo 2.0, but still an awesome e revo? 2.0 um? These are the old servers you can tell, because this part, the the spline, is actually a lighter gray. The newer servos that came on the newer e revo’s they’re, a darker gray, also this remote another telltale sign it – has the 70 30 switch which that’s actually. What i like is a 70 30 switch so that’s the remote. I really really like it’s, pretty freaking awesome. Uh, this stuff alone is just super nice, but then you have the car i’m gon na have to stand over here. So i don’t get a lot of the a lot of the uh sun or the shadow here boom. Dios mío, this thing is beautiful. Bien, first off the body, the body is in way better condition than my current e revo body like this uh these these screw holes. They did kind of pop out sure about that happens.

Whenever you flip and stuff see how it kind of detach detaches there in the back there, so it comes through, but they have um body reinforcers that go in there. So i just got to put those on here again. This body is definitely in better condition than my other body. éste, actually the whole car put this over here. The whole car is in better condition than my other e revo uh. The things that i look for are rust and the screws no rust in the screws. Um, even my e revo has rusted screws, because that one day that i decided to drive it in the on the beach which the beach that salt water will completely destroy, uh your rc cars. Here it is the vxl 6s all super clean everything looks super good condition of this car looks really really good. Only thing missing is the servos which not a problem i like to upgrade those anyways. I do have the servos there that he gave me super nice. Um, i don’t see anything wrong with this car. He looks like he put. Purple springs in the backseat in the shadow, looks like he put. Purple springs in the back. I don’t remember if purple springs come with the car um, but this thing all it needs to be cleaned up. Look at the tires. My my tires were blown out. I actually sold the tires that came with it because one had a rip in it.

I didn’t want to repair it um. These tires look wheels and tires look great um. Everything on this car looks great let’s look under the car, Vaya, not bad at all guys. This has sparked my love for revo’s again. This makes me want to rebuild this one and then finish: rebuilding my nitro revo platinum that i rebuilt that one i have it all built, but i still need to. I think what i did was i changed out. The two speed um still need to break that car in um, but man guys this thing i am blown away. I have so many ideas. What i think i’m gon na do is, Creo, Estoy, going to put all the uh. I mean it looks like he just had it sitting. I mean it’s still like new. This is just dust on top. I can clear that off no problem uh, but what i think i’m gon na do is i’m gon na put all the heavy duty arms. On this thing, i like the different color heavy duty – arms i’m, just going to hop this thing up and man, my other revo needed a refresh because it was beat to crap. This one looks so much better. Vaya, that was super cool man bobby you’re, the man. Thank you so much um. It could be giving away soon. It could be giveaway after the rebuild, who knows maybe it’s giving away, maybe e revo’s giving away, but nonetheless we’re gon na rebuild this one.

First and have some fun with it before we do anything crazy. I know guys i need a new chair, relax all right. Let’S go over this thing. Un poco, let’s go a little bit deeper. This thing is way cleaner than my other revo um. A couple of telltale signs that this is the the earlier revo. These are see how they’re, like a shiny, see those shiny, um. The newer ones have the the upgraded, the heavier duty ones, they’re like steel um, Otra vez, el control remoto 70 30. Otra vez. This is perfectly like that’s, really the only things that they change so i’m, just going to change these out, um Estoy, going to put a better servo in it. Let’S check the receiver i’m curious to know if there’s a receiver in here i don’t know if he took the receiver out or or what let’s see what’s in here, because the receiver’s tsm we know that tsm receiver is freaking awesome. Vaya, it’s in there and it’s like perfectly intact, like the seal, looks like it’s never been broken like he never took it out. I am complete. This is like i got all these cool cars to work on guys all these cool cars to open up brand new cars, open up work on there’s, something about a rebuild project, that’s just so much more rewarding and exciting, and i am so excited to rebuild this Thing looks like this: bullet connector needs to just be tightened a little bit all super minor things bobby.

You are the man. Thank you so much this is freaking awesome. I am going to put this thing to work. It’S gon na have a good home let’s test. The servos to see, if see if they work when i threw it down just now, i could tell those rear those rear springs. I i do not think they’re stock. It seemed like a lot stiffer in the rear um than these stock ones. Let’S get the servo tester, oh yeah servos work, yeah Music. They work guys. They work. They'Re, freaking, Impresionante, golly, i Music i’m. Lucky guys. No te preocupes!
