Thanks of posting this video. The directions give no remote operation instructions, I was about to return it after replacing batteries. Without your video I’d never figured the remote on feature.

Do you remember how you got the hook thru the fairlead? I just got one of these and the hook does not fit thru it, i had to disassemble the fairlead roller to get the hook thru then put it back together.

Gran video. Gracias. I'm trying to modify my Harbor Freight winch so it has two cables, one that spools off, and another that spools on at the same time. Any idea how to attach a second cable to the winch drum? Anyone?
Just had to stop and watch this one again…..My winch cable has broke again …It is some cheap cable…I only use the winch to lift my push blade…..Harbor Freight has the synthetic rope kit ..so I am going to try and get there this week and see if they have it in the store

Hey Mike, did you use the mounting plate that you can buy at H.F.? And since it's been a few years since this vid was made how well did it perform? I bought one yesterday for my Kawasaki Mule 610 and it has a small battery looks like a motorcycle battery. Just wondering how well its gonna perform. Its primary use is gonna be pulling deer up steep hills and pulling up our homemade ladder stands to the tree. Buen video por cierto.

Great Job Mike I'm installing the same one you bought on my craftsmen I might have to try your method to store mine lol
hanging up your mower is a good theft preventer and I offer two suggestions when using a winch – use a snatch block and a old blanket, fender cover etc. anything to lay over the cable so if it breaks it will go to the ground, it gives an added measure of safety.
Never scene a lawnmower do that before haha
