This will be a quick unboxing of the fms 112 scale, suzuki chimney and, as you guys can see from the box, i ordered this kit from rc mart on june 28th. I believe was already a few days after this was made available for pre order, so i wasn’t even sure i was going to get it. But it looks like the kit shipped out on the 12th, which is a tuesday from hong kong, and it got here to the san francisco bay area in california uh yesterday on the 15th. So extremely fast shipping props to rc mark and looks like this is a box within a box. So uh here we are just taking out the contents, got an instructions manual and uh it’s, actually a fairly nice. This was a surprise to me. It’S, a styrofoam or polystyrene case that this kit comes in so let’s go ahead and see even out of its packaging, a fairly nice little jacket here. If you guys want to pause the video here, you can kind of read through all the different features but uh. Hopefully, we’ll go through all of those features in another video and again just to show you guys uh, the back of the main packaging of this kit. There you go again if you want pause the video you can read through that, so this little uh polystyrene case has a little bit of a latch mechanism here, which i i don’t know uh.
I think it’s kind of nice. If you want to take this uh kit with you on a trip, you don’t have to worry about, putting it in a box somewhere has its own carrying case, and there we go. Doesn’T actually look like there’s very much here. It is an rtr and it’s, fully put together, as you guys can see, looks like it’s, just a kit, a radio and some tools. Just a quick look of the radio here very small. I don’t have particularly small hands, but even this looks small to me, but it does feel comfortable. Uh looks like you got the steering trim steering dual rate up there. You got a channel three switch and a channel four uh push button right. There uh servo, reversing switches, uh throttle dual rate, throttle, trim, okay and then finally, uh get the vehicle out of the box. Nice lime, green um. One thing i want to mention that uh i don’t know if other reviewers have already mentioned. Is it it’s got quite a bit of weight to it? It’S got a decent amount of weight and uh. When i get to the workshop and actually put it on the scale, you guys will know all right so uh. What else is in the box? Here we got a usb charger and a four way wrench that we all are used to seeing and just show you guys a little bit of detail on the box. The box does support the model uh on the middle, so when you have it in the box, that’s not sitting on the tires and let’s see that’s a rubberized antenna there fairly nice.
The mirrors are folded, they are hard plastic. They are not rubber and looks like they’re on there fairly firm, but you can rotate them. So just in case you do roll this thing onto its side. Uh it’s not going to be a big deal and i’m, showing you guys that the wipers here are plastic, but they do move around again so that, in the event that you do, pull this thing over it’s, not just going to snap off and break. I don’t know if you guys can see that there’s a rear wiper there as well just showing you guys a little bit of the underside here uh steering servo is looks like a micro size that’s connected to feels like a metal tie, rod there there’s a glimpse Of the battery it looks like a two cell lipo accessible under the hood that’s. What i’m guessing uh a relatively good uh spring rate on there, probably appropriate for the weight of this car it’s a three link front three length: rear we’ve got the transfer case right there and um just pointing guys just a little uh silver. Can i think this is a 180 motor, as you guys can see there relatively little damping, not not necessarily a bad thing, especially for the intent of this vehicle and i’d like to close off this video with just a quick scale, comparison uh. So this is a 1 12 scale. This is a 112 scale. Suzuki gsxr put it right next to there and let’s see if we can get a little bit better perspective here, maybe a profile there.
We go uh that looks like that’s about the right scale: i’m. Gon na move both of these things uh closer to the foreground and then i’ll take a uh tamiya 110 scale cc01, that is the isuzu mu or the amigo, if you’re in the united states, so just uh scale comparison right. There i’m going to take the motorcycle out let’s, see if we do a front view comparison between these two vehicles. There you go just for reference, so we’ll do two additional views, nose to nose and then one with the tamiya and the background and the suzuki and the foreground. And after that i think, that’s all i have for you guys for this particular video uh. Hopefully, in a video sometime soon, we’ll do uh all the features uh with the interior, the lighting and all the different controls. Until then, thank you guys again for stopping by please like and subscribe, and i look forward to your comments down below.
