5 reasons why i HATE & love my ARRMA KRATON RC Car!

This is just an opinion video, so i know it’s probably going to get a lot of hate, and this is only just my opinion what i’ve experienced, but as far as i know, they’re pretty common problems, this isn’t just a hate or bash on armor cars. For anyone that doesn’t know are not company specific, i just love rc cars and all rc cars. If it’s a good rc car, i’ll love it no matter the brand and guys i know i’m a little late. I hope you guys had an awesome christmas. Uh got what you wanted and also have a happy new year after this video i’ll, probably see you guys in the new year as it’s, only a couple of days away, mais oui. You guys loved my five reasons why i hate my traxxas x, maxx so i’m doing this for the armor crate and guys we’re about to hit 2 000 subscribers. My predictions were correct: we’re gon na hit 2 000 subscribers before the end of 2020 and man. What a way to end the year so happy! Merci! What did santa bring you for christmas if you haven’t seen it already? Last video, we ended up breaking the armor creighton. Look at that bend in the shock tower and i also broke the server. So i’m gon na need a new one, no driving today, so let’s jump into it so guys, starting off with maybe a really obvious one, but that has to be the creighton chassis man.

It is so weak but correct me if i’m wrong, if they fix it on the v5 or the axb. But as far as i know, even when extremely bashed, the exp was still having some chassis bend. So you are going to have to get an upgraded chassis. Just like the m2c chassis like i have on mine now, i know it’s a bit of an obvious one, but it is such a big deal that i think it really needs to be rectified asap. Now i have the m2c one as you can see there uh. Oui, i put a hole in it: i’m trying to put a gimbal in it don’t mind the skin, but i have a ncc chassis on it and they come with these awesome skid plates as well, so very strong. I have absolutely abused this chassis. Nothing has gone wrong with it. It’S been absolutely perfect now on number two, and this is just a personal preference for me, but that is the body shell, not just the pins, but also how close it is to the towers when you land it on its roof. It ends up indenting the tower shape onto the chassis, so it’s a little bit of an annoyance, but i guess don’t land on your roof, as you can kind of see here, it’s been indented, but uh yeah also the pins ones are just kind of. I don’t know i want them to fade out really really quick, donc c’est, just a personal annoyance of mine.

I guess you could say it’s a bit of a bonus, but yeah the body body needs to be adjusted a little bit and again. This is just my opinion now guys. I know it’s a little bit ironic, but i do love the armor creighton. It was one of my first bashes and i absolutely love it and it’s still today, one of the best bashing rc cars – and you know if you guys, are looking to purchase one. I have a link down in the description below and where you can get it from so be sure to check that out. prochain, one guys number three and that has to be the servos for some reason on the armor creighton’s. These servos just die out all the time. I end up having the servo die out on me in only just a few runs, Et puis, when i bought this one, it ended up dying again. So i think the way it’s mounted it’s just causing too much shock through the servo, and it just keeps breaking i’m, not sure why it is but it’s a common problem and it’s really annoying. So if anyone knows any fixes to these problems, make sure to leave those in the comments below as well. d'accord, guys number four, and that has to be the shock rod ends. They end up breaking really really quickly and that’s. These bad boys right here, uh now mine, took a few runs to break, but they, but they did break eventually and it’s a common problem on basically all the creighton’s i’ve seen.

Cependant, they do sell this heavy duty upgrade and so far no breakages so really cheap to fix guys, but it is a common problem. It’S quite annoying you’ll be out there on your first or second run. You go over a big jump. You come down and boom you’ve broken it. I think one of the worst problems is because it’s such a small minor fix and but it ruins the whole day. You know what i mean like you: can’t use it anymore unless you’ve got a spare so uh. That is definitely one of the problems on my list and again i don’t know if this is fixed in any of the exp or v5s. I do apologize for that, but let me know in the comments guys i’m always looking out for more information. Okay guys. Lastly, i’d have to go with these shock tower mounts uh chassis, braces, whatever you want to call them. These are an upgraded one from marco rc in australia, and these ones are really good, but the ones that it comes with are plastics and because it’s plastic it’s going to break pretty quickly. I think too, if they just upgraded, that chassis brace they’d actually get a lot more durability out of their chassis as well as i found the second, i bent that chassis, the chassis shock tower brace just snapped, along with it having a metal one on there from Stock would have really helped that chassis strength.

d'accord, Gars. I know how much you guys love your honourable mentions, so here’s, the honorable mention okay, so that’s the motor mount right and that in there is also the motor mount. So you’ve got the motor mount which holds on to the center diff, as well as the other mount that holds on to the center diff. The second center diff mount is plastics, it is plastic, so i think it’d be a really good upgrade if it were metal. Euh, as mine did get a little bit loose just to kind of stop that from wiggling around, because i can feel that something bad might happen, especially if that becomes too loose and the near diff is kind of wobbling about, and then it doesn’t mesh up with The motor and then you know something happens, not a big problem that’s why i didn’t put it into the main ones, but definitely an honorable mention, d'accord, guys now it’s time to tell you about the five reasons why i love my armor creighton. d'accord, guys number one and that has to ironically, be the durability. Bien que, Oui, the chassis does bend once you put in an m2c chassis and some chassis tower, braces uh that’s, really all you need. I know i have some other gpm parts, but really they weren’t that good and they haven’t added really any benefit. Maybe the gpm servo mount was probably another good option as well, but other than that guys it.

It really hasn’t done anything so as you’ve seen in the other video. I landed this hard on concrete and this did bend, but that is a stock part and really it’s, still technically usable, so guys that one was definitely user error, mais à part ça les gars. It is super super durable and i have the rpm arms on it, but i didn’t actually break any of the arms before i put them on. I just wanted an upgrade and, if you’re looking for some upgrades, these are a great place to start so yeah guys super super durable, rc voiture. I really do love it and i’ve, given this thing absolute help. Secondly, guys that would have to be the handling. This thing just soaks up all terrain and you can be just going flat out over bumps and it’s, just boo boo boom boom. It is just so agile, so so nimble. I guess i they, Je pense, they’re the word for it guys. I don’t know the width of the wheelbase combined with that super fast speed and that awesome suspension, big tyres. It really just soaks it up and you can hear the roar of the wheels as you’re, going over like a hard compact surface and with all the bumps and it just soaks it up so well, if you have one of these, you definitely know what i’m talking About i do recommend pairing this with a really good servo uh you just get so much out of it and thirdly, guys that has to be the looks now.

I know i’ve kind of beat up the body shell, but it’s still, à mon avis, one of the best looking rc cars on the market, i’d have to say it’s, basically as good looking as the x max, i don’t know which one would beat it. These two are basically my favorite rc cars in the world. They just they just look, really really cool such an aggressive, yet professional and sleek looking kind of designer. I guess everyone has their own taste on looks, but for me this is definitely. I know a lot of people like short course. Look i do as well. I just kind of prefer this truggy buggy, whatever you want to call it uh design. So yeah really love it guys now it’s on to number four and that would have to be the size of it. I love 1 8 scale rc card don’t. Get me wrong. I love one fifth scale, especially the x max still my favorite car right, Mais 1 8 Échelle. It has that size but it’s also easy to carry around. You know it’s not too too heavy and mind you. This is still a you know, kind of a weighty rc, Voiture, um and but it’s still got plenty of size still easy enough to carry around and you can run it on 4s or 6s. So you only really need one battery instead of two batteries. So you get so much more run time, c'est, Grand, yet it’s, also small, so and that’s.

What makes it just great it’s just easy to pick up. One handed and you don’t have to you know slug it around. If it does go flat, you don’t have to worry too much about going to get it because it’s not that heavy. Lastly, guys i’d have to say that it’s just really really easy to work on go away. It’S got like a modular system. You undo those few bolts, those few bolts and then obviously a couple here and here, and you can basically take it off in thirds, which makes it really really easy to clean and to disassemble and to reassemble again so just the way that they’ve done it. Par exemple,, those two bolts there undo those and the motor just comes straight out after you unplug the wires it’s. Just simple designs like that that just make working on this thing an absolute breeze and that’s. Also why i like the x max as well. If you haven’t seen the five reasons why i love and hate my x max go check it out, i’ll leave a card up here somewhere. Obviously they’re going to be similar points to why. I love it because that’s just what makes a good rc car it’s a great formula. You know easy to work on good, looking, durable, fast handling all that stuff, and this rc car is no exception. All those things just make for a great rc car and the armor creighton just has it so guys, quick honorable mention as to why i love my armor creighton, and that has to be the battery tray it’s.

Réellement, a really unique design. I’Ll show you it has. This battery wiley clip thing so that’s really cool and, comme vous pouvez le voir, there’s plenty of room, but if you want to run like a 3s or whatever you can put this down, you want to run 6s, you can lift it right up and you will fit Two 3s hard cases in here and i’ve done it before, maybe not all three as hard cases, but most i just run the 6000 heure milliamp, z batteries. These are great uh link in the description you want to get a hold of these. These are amazing that’s. My honorable mention is the battery tray. I really like the unique design so props to armor for doing that. Let me know guys in the comment.
