Pyrodrone Hyperlite FreeRange Freestyle BNF Review 🏴
So this here is a buying and fly version, and you can obviously buy all the parts separately. So i’ll list everything down in the video description. If you want to buy individual parts, if you want to replace certain parts with your own for your own custom, build or if you just want to buy the binding fly, so the binder fly is going to come. Pre built here like this. This is the 5s version with the 22 22kv motors, and these are 22.07 and a half size motors. If you want the forest version, it’ll be a 25 22 kv and the 6s version will be a 17 22 kv motors. I think they’re all 2207.. Now this one here is not a totally final version. It’S i’ve had this for a little while it’s pre production, but should be fairly close to what you’re going to get. You get the frame this little gopro around here for like a hero 8 ou vous savez, like gopro style uh mounting here. This is not included uh. If you get the tbs version like here with the crossfire antenna, this little bumper in the front is included. Sinon, you just it’s got a standard bumper without the immortal. Uh t uh mounting in here get the arm bumpers and you get the mount for the antenna in the back here, and this is a one of these iflight um, 150 centimeter or 150 millimeter antennas. The this one here comes with the cadx vista, arrogant with the nebula pro camera and it’s.
This one’s in white obviously probably comes in black or white. Now this frame is kind of interesting uh. Pretty s. You know pretty typical for five inch freestyle frame uh with a couple of the interesting exceptions, mainly the uh secondary bottom plate. Ici – is all aluminum there’s no carbon. There that’s this orange piece that goes in the back. That holds all the parts and then you have the basically the other carbon plate that sandwiches the arms between the aluminum plate and this carb plate. This one’s like a two and a half millimeter carbon plate, si e uh ., you know pretty typical, more space here for the camera less for the back part here for the video transmitter or the cadx um. And then you have your stack in the middle here: it’s a uh pyro, Drone, f7 flight controller uh and a and i think, c'est, Un 55 amp uh esc. I i’m not sure if it’s uh blessed for the holiday 32 is probably the la32 and then these are 20 Par 20 parts, so the frame can mount either 20 Par 20 Ou 30 Par 30. euh .e uh. The aluminum plate here will be threaded for m3 holes or m3 screws for either 30 Par 30 Ou 20 Par 20 Pile. So you can mount that basically put the screw in there and then mount your your stack parts on the screw. The i don’t remember. I don’t know exactly what aluminum this is it’s, Probablement 70.
75. Nouveau, i would check the specs for the frame itself in the video description. I didn’t get complete information at the time of the recording this video and uh. Since i only was given this one 5s battery, i had to wait to recharge this a few times, while waiting and doing other flights to um fly this so uh. Vous savez que je. I don’t really fly a lot of 5s it’s kind of like basically like force, but more a little bit more aggressive, but you know you know it’s uh. If you want something like a like, i guess in terms of more power i would go with like 6s and maybe a bigger battery. I think it’s kind of a compromise, because if you go to 6s, your your battery is going to go up so yeah. Évidemment, i don’t have all three versions, so i can’t give you a breakdown of like typical batteries to use for each one, but usually, as you go from force to 5x6s, the batteries get fair amount, bigger and also more expensive, mais en même temps, you’re going To get a longer flight and more basically more power throughout that flight for a longer period, so um as you move from forest to 5s, you just basically is like forest, but like basically force on steroids and yeah. You know it’s um plenty of power. If you want to fly the 5s version on force, you can do that it’s.
Just a little bit more mild, it’s kind of toned down. You don’t quite have as much punch out it’s fine for cruising around and you get plenty of cruising around time and more flight time on forest on a big forest battery. You can obviously change the tune as well. If you want to do that or you could go the other route and get the 6s version and um just all right, so i get the forest version and fly 5s or 6s on that and just put in a motor output limit in there. So you could do that as well, if you want to go with the higher kb motor. But if you want to use like the the 6s battery, you can just put a motor output limit in there and uh get basically like the lower kv functionality of the higher kv motor. If you put the motor up limit and barefoot anyway, that’s kind of a topic for a different video, now i go ahead and show you what the stack looks like inside here. I already took a lot of the screws off of here. Let me just give you a quick look at and there’s this pretty standard stuff here, get your motor wire silver to the uh foreign esc. You got your flight controller and all the components over to that got your camera. The crossfire is actually mounted directly to the flight controller via pins uh. This is kind of a trend these days.
Hum. Par là, Tu sais, uh uses like less space. You don’t have to have extra wires there. Alors e uh ., vous savez que c’est que c’est, probably better, for crashing. Ainsi, it’s not gon na fly off somewhere, donc c’est e uh ., you know that’s an option on this one and then um. You know the um the aluminum plate here in the back, where everything is connected into. I think it will probably give you i don’t know i’m, not exactly sure what the goal of that is. It uh, you know obviously didn’t i don’t have the frame take taken apart. I can’t compare what this would weigh compared to say a carbon flake i’m thinking. c'est, probably going to be maybe a little bit heavier that’s. My guess i don’t know if you someone knows uh, if uh for the same uh dimensions of carbon and thickness uh compared to aluminum what the weight difference would be. I would be and also the strength difference i’ll. I would be interested to know what that is. Let me know down in the comments. If you guys know now, the uh let’s give you another closer look at the motor, alors oui 2207.5, and this is a typical pyro drone hyperlite design, very nice copper, windings uh. So i think over here on the back side is the where the kv is denoted. Right there, 20 À 22 Kv. The arms are five millimeters thick by the way it’s pretty standard stuff there, and then the top plate is two and a half millimeters thick.
The props on here are the uh ethics pb j props. I reviewed these a while back pretty pretty good props and i think you get a couple sets of these included in the kit. d'accord, so here’s the way the drone here dry, no battery. I put all the screws back here that are removed, so it’s coming at 354 Grammes, that’s um. Tu sais, i would say pretty much ballpark average for freestyle five inch of this type of frame it’s. Not obviously, you know it’s not like an ultralight frame or something like that and then with the 5s battery that i flew it with and now we’re coming in at okay, now we’re over the limit here of the scale, D'accord, switching scales here, this one will Go up to like a kilogram five hundred and grams with the 5s battery and then um add the weight of a gopro. I think i flew this with hero6 with the camera cage, so yeah we’re, you know that’s, Je pense que c’est, Probablement 120 grams or so 125 Grammes, so we’re talking 700 Grammes. You know it’s typical five inch uh with a carrying a gopro freestyle. So you know nothing really no different here or that interesting in terms of the weight now i’m sure some of you guys are wondering if this is available in an analog version, i’m fairly, certain that that will be made available as a separate version, but the ones That i’m already currently aware of, are the basically the ones for dji.
This seems to be them ones that are more in demand these days uh, but for those of you guys that are interested in this an analog um. I think that that will also be available. Maintenant, Bien sûr, you know you can just buy the frame uh your own parts and build as an analog of course, that’s totally totally easy to do you just get your stack, you know get the motors and then put your video transmitter here in the back fairly Typical five inch build here, euh .e uh, nothing really that different in terms of with what’s out there in the market anyway. So overall, Tu sais, Je pense, it’s a pretty good build. All the parts are solid fly is pretty nice they’ll come with the pitching, of course uh from the uh company. So you know don’t worry about tuning it. You’Ll just have to basically get a battery charge it up and you should be able to go ahead and fly. It obviously out to figure out which receiver version again bind that to your radio, pretty standard stuff there um but yeah. If you want to just buy something off the shelf and but you know, bind up to your radio and charge charger battery and go fly, you know here’s another classic binding fly that there’s a ton of them out there, Bien sûr, and this one is very good And you know if you want to compare it to something like it comes from iflight like the nasgo5 etc.
This is definitely right in that ballpark in terms of performance, anyways, voici, more flight footage for you. Let me know if you guys have any questions and i’ll talk to you guys in the next video Applause. Music it’s got pretty crazy power on 5s, comme vous pouvez le voir ici, 23 Ou 6 Moteurs, Mais 22 22kb. They scream pretty loud. A little windy right now. Kind of wonder if the 5s is going to be better for racing versus freestyle, very floaty yeah it just kind of floats there. Doesn’T want to come down Applause. You want to go super fast, vous êtes, going to probably want more camera angle yeah. It just kind of floats there. This is not bad. A little prop wash alright a lot, a minor difference in the weights, Applaudissements de musique. Ah ouais. It has a lot of hang time Music, you just set it up with a short burst, and it just like floats up there. I think in a this in the hands of a more skilled pilot, you can definitely do more, has a little bit too much power for for me. Oh, i think i’m at the end of the battery here already a little too much full throttle. Punch outs see how it handles in the turns it’s a little different than the timing Music, if you’re not doing full throttle punches.
