Sg 1604 Drifting Examen

It also comes with some rubber on road tires, which i’ll do a separate video for that we’ll. Take it out and drive around the street do some cornering and turning and see how the built in gyro in this car works, because it helps to stabilize come out of turns and keep the car more in a straight line. So we’ll do that on another day, because today i want to take this car and drive it around here in my basin, because i’ve got concrete floors here. They’Re really slick. A lot like a garage floor usually is to be ideal for taking this out, even though these plastic wheels are there’s, no traction on these, so you can drift just about anywhere with these, but a really slick surface below these is going to make literally no uh Traction where you know a street or something is going to be able to grab these a little bit, especially as these tires, these plastic wheels start to get beat up, is going to you know, it’s going to make you have a little more traction able to grab A little easier down here, it’s going to be really perfect for taking this car out and as you’ll see in the in the drive i’ve already done that i adjust the esp, they call it or the gyro to see if there’s any difference with it all the Way up or down, i really can’t tell a difference. I don’t think there will be on this because, as far as i know, i don’t think that’s really the intention with the drifting aspect.

If it is, let me know because i’m really new to the gyros and cars, but i think it’s really for the on road rubber tires where you really get to test that feature out. As far as i can tell on that, but it’s a lot of fun is a rather confined area here, but not the smallest and it’s still a blast doing it uh driving around and doing that drifting, but that’s just for your demonstration, because it does get a Bit repetitious, but if you took this outdoors in a wider area like a big asphalt parking lot, these are still going to be able to drift pretty good on that. And then you can take it and do some actual drifting like if you’re doing a course or something it’s, just kind of hard to kind of keep this in a straight line. With these tires, but keep in mind, you can definitely drift with these two it’s just they’re going to grip a little better, especially if you turn the gyro all the way down with these on. But these are what these are for and that’s why they include these. So what we’re going to do is i’m going to move the camera. Bien, i would have moved the camera over, but i’ve already done that portion, because i was filming this out of order a few times, but i put i kept this camera on a tripod. I don’t use my head cam, like i usually do because it’s such a close up and then i can actually film this with the fixed camera and let you guys see how that looks so let’s get over to that drifting portion right now.

All right guys let’s, take it out here and see how it does here. On my basement floor, Oh oui, as expected, there’s not much traction it’s like driving on ice but that’s. What the point is. This is fun you can see where you could do it’s like drifting, obviously that’s, where it’s fun. You can kind of get that going and kind of slide sideways. Like a car – and you know a little bit of steering the car kind of goes sideways. Maintenant. I’Ve got the gyro in the middle here, so let’s try turning it down. I just want to see if it has any effect at all with the slicks i don’t think it’s going to go too much. So really, you know the gyro again. You don’t want the drywall for this i’m just curious if it has any effects able to even try to do anything and you’re constantly steering too, and i think the gyro is gon na. Try to you know not gon na be yellow. I don’t know how well this guy will override that you know when you’re constantly let’s go ahead and just we’ll just for the fun of it just crank it all the way up and see. If there is any difference Music, i mean i really it may not be Music, it may want to stay a little more under control there, but it could just be my imagination because it slips. Tu sais, there’s not much to be done on these plastic tires.

It almost seemed like whenever i was steering all the way kind of going you know in. I was able to go more on its side. Music let’s go i’m gon na put all the way down now i don’t know again that’s not the point of the gyro or esp as they call it, that’s more for as far as i can tell, and if you guys, if i’m wrong let’s correct me because I’M new to the gyros. This is something that i’m really new to so i’m, not real fooled on them. I apologize for that. So if it is the way i see it is that’s really going to be important on the on these rubber tires that i showed you guys in the initial overview and of course here at the beginning of this video, these are rubbery. You know they’re going to have good traction and even with the good traction on a floor, especially like this, i was still able to do some drifting even with these, just not as good, but on a street you’re trying to go in a straight line. You want to go in a corner and come out of a corner really well. The gyro is going to help keep your car under control, where this is meant for drifting. So to me the gyro, which seems like it would be sort of pointless here, but then again, maybe i’m missing something. So if i am be sure to leave it uh, let me know in the comments Music yeah.

This is this is a lot of fun. It’S a bit repetitious here, i don’t have the biggest space i’m doing it here. Just so you guys can see, and film it’d be more fun if i could open this up and do it over a large area – and i have more area behind the car here, but to film all this. It would be getting really and it’s hard to keep stuff in the head. Cam and it’s really close like this. In a confined area, without just driving underneath the camera, then you don’t see what’s going on, but the car looks really. I mean the headlights are really awesome. Let me show you guys now a few things with those headlights, the car’s a lot of fun, but this is a bit repetitious to me. If you put the rubber tires on, you can still do some drifting on a slicker surface and then go on a road and even a little bit of mild off road. With those tires, my choice is going to be the rubber tires. The plastic tires are more of a specialty thing for doing just what we’re doing here, because they’re not going to be very good for the road, because you just you’re going to constantly be drifting in donuts and peeling out and you’re not going to be able to Keep the car under control that’s what i’m getting at so anyway. So let me show you guys, see three positions.

You got headlights all the way on the middle position turns off the red leds around the headlights. You see in some cars that’s really cool looking, but you can turn those off and you can go all the way to the right and you have just those on. I think that looks really awesome. Évidemment, a real car – you couldn’t legally drive around at night like that, but it looks really really cool and i showed you guys that in the initial overview – but i wanted to have them on all the way like this. So you can see the full lighting effect, but yeah here it is all the way down uh with them all the way down to that, and that looks pretty cool too oh ran to the camera, ran into the camera, les gars de sorte que c’est. What the big jump was. Musique, D'accord, this is getting obviously pretty repetitive. I don’t think anybody. You know i don’t want to sit through. You know eight to ten minutes of the drift car in a little circle, so we don’t want to keep dragging this out anyway, mais oui. This car is really neat, comme je l’ai dit, it’s got several different uses and i wanted to show the drifting here inside, because to do it outdoors is going to be tough to be able to showcase the slicks so i’ll follow up this video with a video with The rubber tires on road and let you guys see how that works, and that would be a real good showcase of how well the gyro works in this car.
