I accidentally put a bracket right here, but it actually goes right underneath the chassis of this taxi. So now we’re going to go ahead and proceed with putting in this motor here. These are the battery contact points and the gear just slides right here like that and then there’s a little cover piece to protect the motor and snaps on just like that. All right now, the next step is we’re, going to go ahead and put this piece here: it’s a cover for the motor to make it look like a an actual engine, and that just goes in and pops into that, and then next up we’re going to go Ahead and put this gear on a little blue gear, i already pre lubed this so we’re going to go ahead and put this shaft in and put this a4 piece right here, just like that and then it’s going to go right where this gear is right there. Finally, got that gear in but i’m a little concerned about when i turn it the secure just pops off it, doesn’t look like it seats in properly or it locks in place, not too sure, but that’s. Okay, um does come with this little. I guess a little wheel well guard for the gear, so we’re going to go ahead and pop that into place there. We go and let’s see here. Well, don’t have to worry about the gears popping out now. So i guess that that little component is just a guard.
I guess, okay time for the next step, we’re gon na go ahead and put the roll the rear roller stays. It goes back here, here’s the piece it goes screws in like this, so we got ta get the screws which i have right here, go ahead and try to put one in here. For you this time i got a smaller screwdriver, so this should help be a lot easier than the bigger one that i used the other day. There’S one go ahead and screw this one in all right that takes care of the rear roller stays next step. We got to do is put on these little bumpers right here i got ta get a couple: more screws. Okay, i was finally able to get these little bumpers on. I tried to get that on camera. So what i did there was a washer, so you can get that focus on here. Okay, so there was a washer and a screw that you had to grease, and then you put them all together, try to get that on camera, but that didn’t quite work out. So, but that’s, okay, so there’s four of them. The front sides are gon na, be a little smaller than the ones in the back. In fact, this one isn’t screwed in all the way: okay, okay. So the next step here is we’re, going to go ahead and put the batteries in all right. Thank you, amazon for these wonderful batteries, all right and then a moment of truth to see if everything works, there’s a little switch in the back that we put in here on the last episode.
Definitely works that’s a fast one, all right! So next thing, we’re going to do, is put this little battery cover on like so it snaps into place just like that and secure it. In now, with everything put together, the next step you’ve got to do is put the decals on the body and with some youtube magic, and just like that i’m done, putting the decals on it’s pretty cool. Obviously the colors don’t match, but it is what it is. Um, what i found interesting is that the 852 on the license plate is the international phone code for hong kong. So final step is we’re, going to go ahead and attach the the cover to the frame of this car let’s in, like so and snaps into place, and then in the rear right here, there’s a little hook and that locks everything together and now it’s time to Go for a little test, drive all right now, it’s time for a quick test drive here, and that concludes this taxicab series build. I hope you really enjoyed it. I somewhat enjoyed this not quite the type of model that i would build, but there will be more videos on the way, probably have a next project coming here pretty soon, so please click like and subscribe.
