I’Ve never done a speed run with it. So in today’s, video we’ve got the gps on board and we’re going to see just how fast it is on the stock. 2S battery and then 3s, because this car is definitely 3s capable hammered that brushless power and no response to the tires. Nothing more motor overgrass, but today’s speedrun test is on blacktop as ever having your guesses right now, just that fast on 2s, then on 3s. So just how fast is the zd racing rocket? Well, got my power hobby, gnss speed, meter on board, so let’s go find out, yeah, not 2s that’s, not exactly fast, and i think that’s definitely peaked out. Well, as i say to start with, the car is running on 2s, but you are going to see it run on 3s later on in this video it’s. Quite brisk around the yard, doesn’t feel quite as quick here in a straight line, but we shall see on both 2s and 3s i’m thinking, it’s, probably 20 – maybe 21 miles an hour. Something like that, but that’s definitely peaked out, got the speed go forward as much as i possibly can anyway. Let’S put a fully charged pack in there as well. What are we guessing i’m thinking between 1921 miles, an hour that was one mile an hour out 22 miles an hour so that’s? How fast the zd racing rocket is. We’Ve got the stock 2s lipo on board, not too bad for the money, and you can fit a big opinion to it, which i think is what you probably need to get the maximum speed out of it, that they quote on the box.
The difference on the car, you tend to be it’s weak point, but it’s got a lot going for it. Superscale lock onto the truck tires and four wheel drive and it’s brushless by the way and now it’s time to test the zd racing. Dtk 16 rocket on 3s gensei’s, 2, 200 million 50 c pack. In here. How fast will it go i’m thinking probably over 30, but let’s see so how fast do you see zd racing gt3, 16 rocket going to be on 3s? Well, the gen 6200 milliamp lipo on board. Now, okay start my power rubbing, gnss speed meter link to this one below the video. Should anyone be interested okay now? This is a bit of a different beast on 3s still gon na be quite tricky to keep it in line. I have a feeling see we can get on that power. Early come on, have a go i’m thinking. There’S got to be over 30 with this, but it’s going to be handful getting it on the power. Oh maybe not, maybe that might be might be. Oh might be i20s that that diff is not sounding good. I’Ve got to feed the power anchors with a short wheelbase. Oh man, something is wrong with that radio, but more to the point. How fast did it go? Oh, oh, it was just that radio range anyway let’s see how fast we went 27 miles an hour. So i said i 20 so that’s about right three, so i think 22 miles an hour on 2s and 27 on 3s.
Well there we are the zd racing, just starting around 22 miles an hour on 2s and 27 miles an hour on 3s. Today, don’t think we’re going to ring much more out of it than that. The one deficiency might be the radio which seems to maybe keep going out of range, because every time i come near to the car we’ve got steering back again. However, as a first rc car, i would say: it’s pretty good brushless to say 22 miles an hour on a 2s battery and the two with the tourist pack. This will last for about 20 minutes. The tires are big enough to go over the grass on most lawns. So, to my mind, an ideal starter car link to it below the video so 22 miles an hour on 2s. I will point out that traxxas cars that cost 200 250 stuck out in the box without the speed pinning on only do around 22 to 23 miles an hour. So this is equally comparable on a speed 27 miles an hour on 3s, not too shabby that’s not going to be as fast as the traxxas car on there. But then you’re not looking at exactly like for, like, as this is a lot cheaper, but speaking of which, if you like what you’ve seen today from this car i’ll put a link to it below the video.
