HPI Racing – RS4 Sport 3 Drift – Subaru BRZ RC Car

What up guy what’s up b? What are we talking about today? So today we are unboxing, this hpi rc of my ft comp car dope. So when it comes to rc cars, do you know a lot about them? Did you play with them when you were younger well um? I don’t think i know much about it, but just like any other car guys, i had a few cars in the past um yeah that’s about it so playing with rc cars when you’re younger. Do you think that led into like your love of cars today for sure um, because i think that that was like a first thing, i was able to customize to my own spec, like the parts and the colors and stickers. So just like what i do to a real car nowadays, right for sure, like you, can change, tires and suspension and like engines and like yeah it’s, really almost like having a real car but in a much smaller scale, yep. So i think that’s how all of us kind of maybe kind of tinkered a little bit and got into this right. Yeah it’s much cheaper, but if you get into it, i think it’s gon na be a lot expensive too right. So just like a car and um yeah, when i was kid, i didn’t really have that much money. So i didn’t, i didn’t, really modify micah that much but i’m sure that was like a beginning of customizing stuff so like playing with these rc cars um earlier.

In your life, did you ever think you’d have one of your own car, no for sure now and it’s really cool to have this yeah, my own race, car and rc car, and even my face on the box um, i had a same collaboration uh with hpi, With the uh discounted s13, which is my previous comp car – and it came out really really cool and a lot of people liked it, and this is the another one they did and yeah even it’s. The second one i feel really cool about it and really appreciate that collaboration. So what makes this kit so special? So the main thing is this is ready to drive. You don’t need to buy anything else, it’s got everything in it and you can just have fun with it right um also, this is actually all wheel. Drive not rear. Wheel drive like my real car, so some people might think it’s, not right, but um. If you have tried rear wheel, drive car rc drift, it’s really hard. I i’ve tried before, but couldn’t really do it. What makes it so difficult so, basically the overdrive car. You have to have a kind of steal, all the whole time but uh. You know. That means you have to like turn in and then countersteer and you have to like um adjust the whole time while you’re adjusting the throttle too right um, but the overdrive always front tire is spinning, so you don’t really need a counter steer the whole time.

You can kind of have a zero counter, but still sliding, and once you see visually over stair, then you can just give a countersteer to me. I need maybe a month or two to be able to drift, so i didn’t really get into it. So this is perfect for the beginner to try and i can just take it out and should be able to do like a decent move and have fun with it, which i will find out soon right, yeah, well, let’s uh, get this box open and see what’s What’S what’s in there all right sounds good let’s. Do it all right? So here it is. This is the box and you got really nice guys face right here with the signature and, oh, i guess, it’s a waterproof which is, i didn’t, know let’s open up here. You go all right here: it is it’s a controller, the battery for the controller, and this is a charger for the battery right. This is about 3.. Here you go, and this is the rc car. Okay, it might take a little while to unwrap this thing. You know maybe like fast forward there you go, got the better tool all right here. It is oh instruction manual, hey that’s, a very interesting way of wrap here it is Music. So cool thing about this kit is it’s ready to drive. You don’t have to build anything: it’s got everything, controller, rc, car battery and even battery for the controller and the charger for the battery.

So you don’t need to buy anything on top of this. You can just have fun with it all right, let’s open this up. A little bit all right: this is the controller it’s, nice and simple i’m sure it’s forward backwards. Right and left you have a little thing. You can kind of change the setup. I guess now let’s look at the battery. I think this is the right direction. So now the chassis is ready to go, but before i put the body on let’s, take a look on the chassis it’s got the suspension individually, the cool thing about this kit, this wheel. This is a custom wheel from our mk design and it looks exactly like it so cool and also this tire it’s our tire lt615. And can you see it this this patterns, exactly like it it’s crazy, how they can mimic entire pattern like this all right, so let’s open this charger kit? Hmm, oh whichever country you’re in you can use this guy and for our country. We use this guy. All right – and that goes here – and it goes to the constant so hpi brand that’s kind of cool. It should work now. Let’S, try Music right on right. So now i can oh i’m gon na check this guy out. I don’t know really what it is, but i guess it’s a spare part. I know this guy. This is supposed to change the wheel. The tires right anyways.

We don’t need this right. The now Music, all right should be ready to run right now. So this is actually a 2017 livery, and actually this is one of my favorite livery on this brz i’ve been competing with the same car last seven seasons. But i guess this is like one of the best delivery i think on this car and they did really good job yeah. All the details, all the logos, it’s, a rocket bunny kit with rmk design, wheels yeah. It looks dope and even you know the hood scoops – and this is like our thing: the apr uh splitter yeah, pretty dope man it’s got uh um garrett turbo right here, too cool, so real let’s take it to the spin it’s really cool, but uh it’s, pretty Tricky i just need to get used to it. It seems like you’re having a hard time controlling it. A little bit yeah, especially this type of surface it’s kind of tough man, it’s, very slippery, but good thing it’s over drive so uh. I can still keep it moving forward: Music, Music. All right, i think i got it down check this out. Man, Music, Music.
