Arrma EXB Rear Differential Testing in 8s Talion (YOU NEED THIS!!!)
I am running on 8s and that’s. Why? I need it in here really badly, so i put it in here. I tried it out a little bit and it stopped the clicking so in this video i just want to let you know how it actually goes and also i’ve got this power hobby 400 mg servo, so those stickers will be coming off because the power hd r30 Servo died and i think it’s, because there was too much steering travel. I didn’t set my end points correctly. I set it to where it would go further than it could go, so i could get more lock on the steering. I wanted it that way, but the servo just couldn’t handle it. So this one i set up correctly and now there’s very minimal wine, so let’s get this out there and see how it performs just to clarify this. Video is focusing on the diff, not the servo. There will be a detailed servo video, the next time you see this car and also the next time it’ll be on success, because it’s just way too heavy to be on 8s lipos are too heavy. Motor’S too heavy esc is too heavy i’m, not going back to stock electronics, but something almost the same Music. Glazba, oh Glazba, Glazba. Oh, did anybody notice anything about all those runs that i just did yep no clicking no clicking at all. So i just wanted to let you know how i actually set up this diff just so.
You don’t make a mistake on yours and screw it up with some shims. So i put two shims on the left side of the differential casing, which will move the ring closer to the pinion, so it can have a tighter mesh it’s, not too tight to where it binds up. But it is just the right part. What i would say is try to get as many shims as you can get in there. I didn’t really go for three because i didn’t really care, but i think you could probably get three if you really really had the mindset and it’s, not the diff it’s. Just a stick just to make sure we have no clicking nothing let’s see i can get one of those there we go. I just tested you. I should also test the tip Music gosh. This thing fly: oh Glazba, Glazba, Glazbeni pljesak, Glazbeni pljesak, Glazbeni pljesak, oh ouch feels fine in there. Ah, i went for it just another tip for you guys when you get the diff open it up and top it off, because mine was a little bit not topped off. I just like to fill mine up all the way. Just so i know they’re full. I think it had enough in it, but i would rather put a little bit more and make it fine. I put 20k weight in there because that’s all i had, i don’t normally really care for what fluid i put in my differentials.
I don’t really think about it too much it’s, just the driver that’s the issue, but no it handles really good left to right. I still can’t actually tell what they sent me because i ordered a open differential, but when i opened it up, i saw those slipper plates and everything in there, and i thought it was a limited slip diff, but it doesn’t seem to be. I really cannot tell because it behaves exactly like it did before. Oh my god, it bounces like crazy. I actually ordered this diff off of ebay and it came with the safe d5 cup that would come on the exp. There are a lot of great deals on ebay. There are a lot of people who buy the truck on ebay and then they disassemble it, and then they sell all the parts at an extremely low cost. So i would buy that if i were you because it’s a great deal, this whole diff with an extra case with the pinion and with the safe d uh cup around the output. It was like 60 bucks and it actually got lost in shipping, but the guy was able to get me a new one. In like two days, great seller, oh looks like we actually did break something, probably on that last jump, uh or it just came loose just another tip while i’m at it put wd 40 there differential output, differential output there and same on the rear, because it really Reduces the drag and takes away a lot of squeak.
I know there is squeak there, ali to je., because i tightened it up last night because i wanted to get rid of all the play differential exp differential is 8s approved by yours. Truly, so guys. Thank you for watching that is it for this video don’t forget to comment like and subscribe for.
