Today i have the 2021 team corrally jambo up on the bench for us to unbox and take a look at in this video, so let’s get right into it. Glazba, all right guys, really quick here! This is everything that you receive in the box. You get a manual for your transmitter, which will walk you through all the basics like how to bind it, how to adjust everything and what each button and switch that’s on it. Does you get a user manual for the vehicle as well? This will just walk you through all the basics. Još jednom, all the stuff you’ll need to get started all the parts explosions and just helps you better understand the vehicle everything’s pretty standard, To je, black and white. Nothing too special, but it looks like it will get the job done. You also get an instruction manual for the esc and this just walks you, through all of the programming and setup options. It is adjustable, so you can go through and use this chart to change. Some of the features based on your preferences – they do include a cap and tube for your antenna. I definitely recommend putting a drop of glue on the antenna cap, so it doesn’t go falling off because it is super loose here’s, the radio that’s included. It is the s2r has all the basic features like a foam steering wheel got a nice rubber grip for your hand, throttle trigger is on the softer side for sure the on and off switch is on the end here and then up top.
You have a little switch that will get you through your 50 50 I 70 30 throttle setup. Your steering and throttle trims are located just above the steering wheel, and then you have a nice little adjustment dial here down on the bottom does take four double a batteries and those are not included. So you do have to supply those yourself, Onda. Konačno, you get the 2021 team corrally jambo, so great, looking truck overall, the body has a nice matte finish: some really cool graphics, like an eighth scale, hard plastic wing on the rear. Just behind that we have one big wheel for the wheelie bar. I think overall team corelli nailed it with the body design, not a huge fan of the front end just with the small grille and the small lights kind of like those little features to be bigger, but the tires have more of a blocked. Lug style, tread pattern to them, looks pretty aggressive and i’m very curious to see how these hook up and they do have 17 millimeter hexes. On the front of the truck. We have more of like an eight scale, buggy style front, bumper, just a little lift. That comes up should offer some pretty good protection i’m. A fan of the size because you don’t want something too big that will keep you from doing flips and stunts and stuff. So taking the body off, looks like the body clips. Have some nice rubber retainers on them, the thickness of the lexan that the body is made out of it seems to be decent.
I mean it’s, not too thick, not too thin it’ll be interesting to see how it holds up Music. So moving on to the inside of the truck a lot of this will look familiar just because it’s, a very common race, inspired setup that you see in a lot of eight scale, buggies and druggies start out with the esc. This is the torox 185, which is four to six s. Lipo capable it is a sensorless brushless esc looks like we have a couple xt90 connectors soldered on here, so for once i actually won’t have to change out the connectors. Since i run xt90 looks like we have a cat pack coming from the esc as well. One thing i’m really excited about is the on and off button, rather than an on off switch. Those little two position switches always end up shutting off on the big jump. So this will be really nice on the other side of the truck we have the kuron or maybe it’s pronounced kiron 825. Ovo je 2050 kv. Sensorless brushless motor and team corali says that, with this combo you should be able to reach around 65 miles per hour as a top speed, so steering this truck. We have a 25 gram, digitalni servo. This is the barrio prop or maybe it’s vario prop. I don’t know once again: it does have a red, anodized, aluminum, servo horn on it and it’s also connected to an adjustable metal steering link.
Then, on the side of the servo looks like we have a splash proof and dust proof: receiver box, with the little antenna sticking out this houses, the two channel receiver that is connected to the s2r radio, so going over the rest of the truck. I will, i guess, start the front and the rear and kind of work my way to the middle. So in the front we have a four millimeter cnc machined aluminum shock tower and then in the rear is a five millimeter machined aluminum shock tower. We have some nice 16 millimeter big, bore shocks on this truck with some anodized aluminum caps, collars and shock bodies. This truck does utilize pillow ball suspension in the front end, so you have the upper and lower arms that also look pretty beefy got metal, drive, shafts and due to the layout of this truck, it should be pretty easy to access the diffs as well got a Sway bar in the front rear of the truck too so i’m actually really happy to see that the front steering links and the rear, camber links are fixed on this truck. So with these fixed links, it’s one less thing to have to worry about, and you know take time to adjust for most as long as it goes in a straight line, i mean that’s all we need in the steering assembly. This truck does have an aluminum adjustable servo saver, so i can tighten that down if the steering feels loose, which is really nice.
The steering plate and the upper hinge, pin brace up front are also aluminum, which is really nice to see and it’s kind of tough to see, because these center diff is hidden in there. But the center diff has a red, anodized, aluminum diff cup, which is honestly an upgrade for a lot of other companies. The fact that it comes out of the box with this truck is awesome. We have a nice aluminum sliding adjustable motor mount, which should make it easy to swap your gearing. The chassis and towers of this truck seem to be pretty well braced in the front and rear, so we hopefully won’t be bending this nice black anodized aluminum chassis. We also, hopefully won’t, be scratching it as much as other trucks with this style of chassis, because we have some huge skid plates in the front and rear of this truck. Underneath i’m really excited to see this, because every time i take this style of truck out to the skatepark, i just cringe when it lands, because it bottoms out and just scratches this chassis and what i love even more about this design. Is it has these little ridges to also protect the screws, and it definitely should help preserve them and a cool feature with these arms? You can actually see better here on the underside. Is they have little cutouts for some inserts that you can put in they’re carbon fiber inserts that team corrally provides as an aftermarket part, so those will just sit in those little spots and stiffen up your arm, hopefully add some more durability to the truck the suspension Setup out of the box, i mean it feels pretty dialed.
I guess we’ll just see when we get out and actually run the truck. The battery box is fully adjustable, so it should accommodate. Quite a few different batteries has a little lip and back that’s held in with just a couple screws that you can either remove or adjust back and forth, and you also have a couple velcro battery straps, which i always love, because it doesn’t really limit you. As far as the height goes on your battery, hey guys so i’m actually going to run the jambo here, stvarno brzo. We are out in a parking lot and in the grass here i might throw out a couple ramps just to test the truck out and see how it does. I just want to see how it handles and if everything works properly so we’re just going to run this truck back and forth for a couple seconds and get my first impressions wow. I think the punch is on three out of five, but that is insane. I was not expecting that whatsoever, well guys. First couple scratches in the body that definitely didn’t take long it’s like pulling off a band aid like that’s, not even half throttle and the thing just like jumps up into a wheelie. I honestly should have used this truck for the thousand foot wheelies. This is crazy, Glazba. All right guys, this truck is no joke. The first half of the throttle is just a trip. It has so much power.
I honestly i was shocked.
