Oh by the way i didn’t put the antenna up on the car, so the range isn’t the best right now. I wonder why this isn’t coming up. Let me see what i have to do to get that wing to go up. Is it when i drive this it’s supposed to go up, see that it’s supposed to go up like Applause, interesting it’s supposed to go up, don’t know why it’s not and um? I did a fast charge with this battery, so maybe it didn’t charge all the way because it recommended that i use the actual charger for eight hours. I didn’t have that patience, so i just uh did a quick charge for like two minutes, so maybe that’s. Why that’s not going up but it’s supposed to go up back here, because that’s? What this car did pretty cool feature on the carrera is that this would actually pop up when you’re driving past a certain speed and that’ll keep your car um more more awesome, hey guys, alex kahn here, and we are going to look at this uh german made Rc car made by dickie spielsteig – and this is it’s called rc porsche gt, but it’s it’s, a porsche carrera gt. I don’t know why they didn’t put cabrera on these um. This is considered uh to be a hyper car. That means it’s beyond a supercar super fast. At least the real one is anyways. This is modeled after the real one, but the detail looks fantastic, so we are going to take this out of the uh, the box here, 27 megahertz frequency.
I believe they also make this in another frequency. Don’T quote me on that, Iako, so looks like it has been opened at some point, but when i got this a while back, it was advertised as being new, so it looks like it’s never been taken out of the box. It looks pretty pristine, so let’s go ahead and just pull that open since it’s already been cut open here, it should slide right out all right, there’s that and there is something inside the box looks like an instruction manual or something okay. So we got instructions like how to charge the uh rc look at that charge for eight hours: Wow, oh here’s, the service carter. So again, this is a german day. So a lot of this is written in german, so their article so yeah more instructions. Nothing! I haven’t seen before oh look, that’s shaggy when he’s younger, all right so anyways let’s, take this bed boy out of the out of its uh platform here. So styrofoam start from encasing n10 is up here for the transmitter here’s, the very bottom here’s one of the batteries. This is for the car itself and i can charge this really fast, probably in like two minutes, because i got a fast charger for these things. Here is the the nine volt battery which is going to go in the the transmitter. Here is a charger for the battery, but if i use this thing, it’ll take eight hours for the first charge so i’m going to get with my fast charger on that looks.
Like we got screws in the bottom, so let’s take this. Take this off. First wait: tu je, no screw on that one, but there’s screws on this one, though so let’s unscrew, that i can hear it becoming free, but yeah there’s no screw on this. One though it looks like they might have tried to take it off, and then they change their minds about it, but this thing might be falling off. If i keep doing this all right still on there, a little bit, let’s let’s work it a little bit more. I didn’t want to go too far and accidentally um, let the body scratch when it fall off the screws here. Let’S see. If this is good enough. There we go oh it’s, beautiful, okay and then the uh here is the put that back there. We’Re gon na free the antenna here this is for the uh for the remote transmitter, which is in here and i’ll, have to cut this open. So it looks like they did not drive this yet and yeah. Znaš. Typically, you know i prefer like american cars, but this one’s interesting though it’s a 27 frequency. I think when i put a screw on this it’s like do. I is that really necessary to put a screw here and then take it off, but this is going to go in here. I can do this really fast, like tape all over the transmitter. Ja sam., all over the antenna here – and i think that’s going to be everything inside here – just got an on and off switch button up and down or forward reverse left and right.
Nothing else is in here, except for this random piece, so it looks like the uh. Ovaj, the the wing in the back actually pops up like the real car like with the real car. If you drive too fast, that thing will pop up for um aerodynamic sake, Dobro. So let’s look at this thing here, Dobro, so it’s out of the uh packaging and yeah. It looks like it’s a 112 Skala, not quite 110 Skala, so let’s look at the measurements before i proceed so it’s about 14 and a half inches long that’s, a very rough estimate. The wheelbase is about eight and three quarters inches length for wheelbase and then the uh, the width from the widest point, is about six and a half inches wide. So i really do dig this and i’m pretty sure, as i’ve seen from other videos. Is that this top can come off, so they can figure it out, because i was looking at the instructions just now and it did not say anything about how to take off the uh the roof uh i don’t want to break it. Let’S see now there you go because it comes off in sections being careful to break it being careful not to break it. So these are the pieces for the roof. So it’s beautiful, look at the uh, the interior, pretty nice interior, very detailed. I can probably put a driver in there would probably have to cut its legs off, Iako, because uh the floor space isn’t too extensive, but i was reading somewhere that this thing apparently cost well, not the remote control card, but the real one.
It costs about 900. Just for an oil change, my car costs like what 30 dollars for an oil change. So you can see the difference. Do these doors open nope? I didn’t think they would but yeah it’s it’s uh it’s cool looking and i know they make bigger uh 110 scale versions of this.
