RC CAR Action Magazine (March 2021) Retro Issue – Potpuna recenzija – DeLorean DMC-12 – Will I Burn It?

Did you notice there’s, not one gas or nitro in this whole thing, tu je, no gas and nitro in this this magazine sucks? Are you pissed yeah who the hell can do? Electric man who the hell can you do yeah, destroy it, destroy it thing all right. I think i think we got a good idea. What’S up nitro gang welcome to another nitro gang review of the newest radio control car action magazine. This is the newest issue. March 2021 – i will be going through this magazine page by page, if i do not see at least one gas or nitro article advertisement or even a small mention. I will burn this in my grill and maybe i will go. The extra mile tie this thing up when it’s all burned to the back of my traxxas revo, and then i will drag this thing around because we want to show that nitro is superior. Nitro will never die on this channel. If you guys, like this sort of comment, you know give me a like: do it right now before i even start reading this, have you noticed the new decorations on nitro gang headquarters? Pa, we got ourselves a couple: cool vintage, rc magazines. These all have nitros inside at that time, really wasn’t that much gas, but the magazine all the way over there on the side. That is the first team low c5t that came out pure collectible to this day. This right here i got ta say i like the cover the colors are very attractive, tu je, a lot of purple going on uh no that’s, not any kind of indication about preference, because if that was an indication, then we all know that the purple anodized parts hpi Uses would have been a laughingstock by now, but of course, we love that anodized purple, that hpi uses so there’s, absolutely nothing wrong with the color purple or it’s multiple shades.

The cover here honestly, is one of my favorite cars in the world. This is the delorean. The car that was featured in back to the future all three of the movies so uh, pretty interesting history on this car in real life, uh well, To je, a delorean share with me marty. All your questions will be answered Music when this baby hits 88 milja na sat. You’Re gon na see some serious Laughter. Why is it famous? Pa, it was made out of stainless steel. It turns out stainless steel, as you know, uh it doesn’t rust. It does not need to be painted and basically absolutely nothing happened. So the problem is manufacturing. Costs of delorean were extremely high. The cars quality was extremely low when they were out, I, Naravno, you know making your own brand of uh automobile in 1980s was fairly difficult, eventually, john delorean, i think he made some deal with like a um drug cartel. I think it was a cocaine cartel. He eventually was vindicated and cleared by by the time this was all dragged down in court. His reputation was tarnished drug money or not. The delorean is here to stay. These things will go up in value and i’m talking about the real cars, not this uh fake 3d printed, one which we will look at in the magazine in a little bit very cool design. You know gullwing doors today. The tesla model x does this, but in practice, opening up doors like this when you park next to another car, is actually a terrible idea.

It’S also very expensive, in terms of like the cylinders and the pre loaded springs that you have to have in order to open up a heavy door like this more or less. This is just like a cool marketed car. This was supposed to be the car of the future. Hajde. Take a look at the front cover. Oh sorry, my mistake was looking too closely at the two speed on this classic hpi nitro rs4. I meant let’s take a look at the front cover on this thing. What are they talking about? So this is the special retro issue. This is heavy. That is a line from back to the future. You know when marty mcfly’s furso delorean, he was like doc. This is heavy. That was a phrase they used to use back. Then the justice system works swiftly. The future nominative abolished all lawyers. Oh, this is heavy. Oh, this is heavy. Oh, this is heavy time pretty heavy huh up close to the custom built and 3d printed back to the future delorean yeah. I could already see these are molded plastic lines that 3d printers generate and in the future i will be getting a 3d printer. You know it’ll be interesting to see whether we can print up some parts for uh this hpi over here pretty interesting, although you know i’m kind of like a safe driver, i almost never break any parts that’s. Why all my two speed transmissions are just like new on the bottom.

This is an sh 18 Motor. This is a brand new xenoa low friction coated. Piston from one of their g2 series, you know have a little bit of gas and nitro stuff here, ready to go just in case. There is absolutely not a single gas or nitro inside, in which case i will have to burn this, and maybe even tow this around behind my revo it’s gon na happen guys – and this is a classic os max cvr engine. This is a 3d printed car, basically just a bagel. You know you could 3d print yourself a black hole or a wormhole. If you wanted to actually no you can’t, because a black hole is the absence of matter. That’S right, i know my science. I took ap physics back in high school good. Looking car, there is no denying it a damn icon, an automotive history for both its success in the movie industry and failure in real life production flip. The page people ask me, which upgrade should i get for a lot of their rc’s? One of my best recommendations i can make is get yourself some rpm parts for any traxxas that you run you’re gon na be good. Here we have some parts, the traxxas, easy peak charger. Znaš, organizing your bearings magnetic parts tray actually very useful. I need to get myself one of these shock oils and our first two page ad for an electric traxxas. This is the new haas 4×4 vxl (vxl). Uglavnom, the old style stampede, but more or less beefed up will i get it? No definitely not. Oh here we go one of their first custom builds where they try to replicate an actual engine. Meanwhile, it’s running a basic electric motor inside i don’t know why they do this. You know if you guys want to get yourself a gas engine, get yourself as an old piston like this. You know put it in your videos drive around with it.

You know make it a damn keychain. Zapravo, i might actually make this a damn keychain, i don’t know it might happen down the line. Why imitate rc’s? If you want a gas or nitro motor, get yourself a gas or nitro motor there’s? No point in imitating this stuff it’s just it’s, To je, honestly, a joke. We have some crawlers once again some kind of custom bodies. I i really don’t care about custom bodies, just don’t care, um yeah readers rides have absolutely nothing else to say about this. If you notice they’re really just kind of talking about the design of cars personally, i don’t care about the design of cars. I care about stuff like this stuff that you can run rich stuff, that you couldn’t run loud and stuff that’s over 20 years old and still will start up. If i put some wheels on it. Although i got ta say this g body is pretty sick. I actually uh had a friend with this jeep when i was a kid growing up pretty nice car, although very rough and tiny inside, but classic jeep design here is some vintage tech. Tako, as i said, this is the retro issue and they’re talking about what is this. This is the traxxas trx 10 bullet out of production number one here. It says the futaba radio out of production. Of course they used to use crystals back then number two yeah, the crystals number. Three. We have the charger.

Yeah chargers were like square. They had these little dc, amp meters. On top they had a fuse. Pretty cool actually have some of these. Still to this day, we have number five right here: the tamiya mechanical speed control. So years ago, speed controllers were not electronic, they were basically just little switches. There was usually a three position switch. It was a rotor kind of like a distributor in a car and it would move left and right and you would have a mechanical speed control, so it would basically just apply more or less current from the battery and boom that’s. How you got your speed control. It was purely mechanical, they they were fine, they ran. This was what people did. You know back in the day. Let’S keep moving. We have some ads for tamiyas. I do like the bodies they use, but under these bodies they’re just basically uh plastic. You know tub style, Šasije, To je, really, nothing that exciting. I keep seeing this ad in every single rc car action magazine that i’ve reviewed so far. We have some pit tips, not gon na read about this. This video will never end here’s an ad for the redcat low rider, pretty cool rc. Do i want it not really it’s a little bit too much money, To je, just a plastic chassis that has like uh. You know servo actuated, fake hydraulics. It is a cool. Looking realistic replica body – but you know it: doesn’t – have a piston and the nitro gang we like pistons over here let’s keep moving.

We have the bronco sport it’s a trx 4 traxxas (razdvojba), very popular electric crawler. Personally, i prefer the redcat gen8 because it’s cheaper and i do have a gen8 believe it or not. Ok, so here it is yeah it’s, it’s cool. I don’t know what to tell you we’re not going to read about it. People buy these to customize and then what they’re wind up with is an overpriced electric, very slow, rc back to 1986, the cover page of the first radio control car action magazine let’s, see it cost two dollars 50 cents back then. How much does this one retail i’m gon na flip to the front cover 699 holy moly on the cover here? I don’t see any nitros. Unfortunately, here is the original article from the mrc tamiya toyota bruiser. I know redcap makes a ground pounder today, pretty sure they’re not talking about this is called a ground. Pounder it’s, just kind of like an adjective they’re, describing it as a ground, pounder let’s turn. The page here is a vintage classic, the associated electrics rc10. So this was the first one that came out, not the gt. The gt stands for gas truck when you see just rc10 they’re, referring to just the electric model once again notice it has these white colored, molded plastics. This was like a thing back in the day. That’S what they did i don’t know if anybody knows the reason why they used white plastics in the 80s.

To put in the comments you know, i’ll be interested myself, one of the most iconic rc’s. To be honest with you, the reason is: these were race winners and today they’re highly collectible they’re known as the gold pan chassis. You could tell it has a gold pan chassis, unfortunately covered by the body but that’s what it’s known for tamiya hotshot? Also another buggy don’t care. We have retro ads yeah, so they’re, black and white. I guess you have to pay a lot of money for color advertising years ago. You know that’s just how it was. I don’t really know much about this we’re just gon na have to uh skip all this. I don’t see any anything really that interesting there. Ok – and this is the featured article special project – this is heavy bret, turnage’s, 3d printed, delorean time machine, Ok, tako da da. What you know guy took some plastic. You know ran it through a uh 3d printer put some lights on it, and now he’s featured in this magazine i’m an 80s kid so growing up. I fell in love with the back to the future too and it’s flying the lauren time machine, To je, interesting that this guy said back to the future too uh, because the delorean debuted in back to the future, the first one i don’t know why he went to The back to the future too, Ja sam, not sure this is what they call the fusion generator.

Apparently you could put garbage in it even like you know old beer and it would make energy. We haven’t reached that level of development and uh humankind, yet the whole car is meant to be as realistic as possible and just like the real delorean time machine, Da, Da, good luck with that it’s very cool i’m, not gon na sit here and bash it that Much you know just because it’s, an electric it doesn’t mean much. This is a one of a kind 3d printed build very cool. I could tell that the printer they must have used was probably not a very high quality printer because you could see a lot of these uh filling lines i’m, not particularly sure of the terminology they use in 3d printers. But i will learn about it and i will get myself one. We will see. You know he’s running a brushless 45 amp esc i could see inside. So that means absolutely no money was spent on the electronics on this car. This is probably a slow piece of crap. It will not hit 88 milja na sat. Zapravo, i could probably throw this vanilla piston faster than this rc can actually go. Znaš, stick it in the 45 amp brushless esc, it’s a damn joke. Here we go micro, vintage, Ok, so micro, vintage, Ok, yeah don’t, know much about it. It’S small it fits. In this guy’s hand, we have some cool, uh 80s designs here, novak great brand yeah.

You know personally i’m not going to need any of this. I just don’t care herbie. The short course bug. Unbelievable proline racing’s modified slash, two wheel drive okay. So once again we got ourselves a um slash with uh, with a cool body on it. Also don’t care suspension, 101 droop yeah don’t care, some cool equipment here, calipers work, mat, Uh, don’t care about any of this fired up reigniting my excitement for the tamiya hotshot. They had nitros back here. I know they had them. So why didn’t? They include a single one. So far we have not come across one. You know what that means. This is about to get burned pretty soon. I noticed a lot of times back then these uh vintage rc’s used to have shocks in the front here. Ja sam.. Not quite sure what they did, if you guys know put it in the comments it doesn’t look like they do much to be honest with you. Maybe they were trying to get away with one shock. This looks like another delorean that says eagle, moss. 1 8 scale back to the future, delorean time machine, Ok, so this is a different back to a future lauren. You could tell because the lights in the front are actually good. Looking, i don’t see any of the huge molding lines from the 3d printer here. This might be some kind of giant. You know cast metal, O da, it says right here. The metal body delorean die cast model is offered in a unique week by week subscription, Oh, Bože moj, suck it we’re, not gon na.

Even we don’t care, i mean it’s cool, you know i i like back to the future type of stuff. You know it’s, so it’s a movie. I also grew up with, but would i ever show up with this to like an rc track when i could actually show up with something like this with a cool body on it? No i’d be embarrassed. Pa, To je, it guys. We went through the whole magazine, not a single gas or nitro was inside. I hope you enjoyed looking at some of this classic vintage nitro stuff over here.
