If you and Jennie went out to dinner it would be invaluable. $150 is ridiculously expensive for what it is, unless you need to give the key to someone else, valet, shop owner (ala Elite Finish). One thing I would never do is give my key card to anyone else. I view it as the 'break the glass' solution if your phone is missing, battery died, stolen use case. I know, you're thinking what are the chances… if it happens to you it's 100%.

My wife has a 2017, very nice PHEV that has passive entry key fob. Whenever I want to drive her car I go to it … and the car does nothing. It waits for the passive entry radio signal/code. I have to go back home and get the key fob. I'm done with keys or fobs or start buttons. I enter the house without key. Same with my Model 3. Lets move beyond keys or fobs or cards. I still have to carry the phone though and that's plenty enough. I understand that you need to cover all aspects of Model 3 experience and I thank you for that, but the key fob is just a redundant dongle that Tesla made to cover all possible needs or wants of different owners. It's not gonna be a big seller.
