I have an 800 square foot place and by using the included remote to keep it at 72 degrees. In my home, i am left with a feeling of happiness well worth the money. It came with all of the tools necessary to put it into the window securely. You have to provide your own phillips screwdriver but that’s worth having around already so bought this and received it when it was over 90 degrees here and even hotter inside. Tako, as you can imagine installing an ac under those conditions sucks, you almost need an ac to install the ac. That said, i also had to lug a 65 plus pound ac unit well up and over a kitchen sink and counters. Being a novice i’d recommend a friend to help for people that have regular windows. It should be a breeze, though i had one stupid window that could accommodate it and had to pound with a hammer to get it there. That said, once there it’s been glorious, i just got it today and installed 45 minutes ago. The whole kitchen and dining room are cool and it’s well on to the living room, it’s also not badass. As far as noise is concerned, no problem highly recommend ill update. If anything changes also for reference here’s, my installation, as you can see no room to spare lol, giving four stars, because it has only been installed a day but to all appearances and performance, it is a quality product.

The following may help those who are concerned about if this will fit in their window height posted on march 17th. I have measured the actual height of my unit very carefully and th. The inside face of the channel butts up against the outside edge of the sill. That means you must have at least, that half an inch clear below the outside edge of the sill for the channel to hang over the manufacturing s instruction sheet says 13 inches.
