The delorean is back to the future great movie, bad joke. Don’T hurt me, i know anyway, you guys voted for the delorean as the car that you’re most looking forward to during rocket league summer road trip this month, and i aim to please so, with the help of a friend that was able to scoop up the delorean And today, we’re answering the age old question: is it worth it so demo the like button and allow me to break down the delorean? Shall we let’s go so first things? First, the price no it’s not going to be as cheap as last time and we don’t know the official price until it launches officially thursday july 15th. Tomorrow. But if you look at previous dlc re releases like the kit, knight, raider car and both the dodge charger and the nissan skyline, these all sold for either 800 or 1000 credits when they came back much much cheaper than people thought. After having seen prices for newer cars like the f 150 and lamborghini, even at 2, 000 credits not cheap, but now when it comes to the back to the future bundle pack, there is a little extra in here. Of course, you got your delorean time machine. You got your custom delorean time machine wheels. You got your sweet custom out of time boost. You got this slick, delorean time machine trail and the delorean time machine engine audio. All of these items are tied and specific to the delorean.
So no, you cannot use these items on other vehicles in the game and the only customization option for the delorean is the led lights on the body that’s. What you can change so it’s slim to none as far as customization but it’s the delorean. From back to the future, they want to keep it specific to that look. So no funky, topper or kiwi wheels on this one it’s strictly back to the future, but the silver lining of it all what’s funny is that the pack does include two toppers that you can use on other vehicles like the fennec and octane. The pack will include both the hoverboard topper and the marty jr topper, which to me are some of my favorite toppers in the game. I don’t use toppers much, but when i do you stink, i love these two. So if you don’t think that these two toppers are fire boy, you ain’t right, i haven’t even finished breakfast and that boy ain’t right so overall, i’m leaning towards the delorean being somewhere between 000 and 1 500 credits. But this is rocket league at the end of the day, so anything is possible, but even if it is more expensive than we originally thought tell me where else we’re gon na find a vehicle with wheels that rotate downwards as you’re flying and ascending into the air. Nowhere but now the real question: how does it play? How does it feel well, boys and girls it’s got a dominus hitbox that actually fits it much better than it used to.
I remember it used to have an octane hitbox before they switched it out, it’s good. Now nothing about it feels awkward or off about it. It’S smooth, like really guys. I thought i was gon na – have trouble adjusting to it since i’m, so used to not playing with the skyline, which uses a hybrid hitbox, but nope no trouble at all. It was smooth sailing from the jump off but i’m only champ, one though and i’m. Definitely not a freestyler. So take my game play with the grain, but this really is a car that you can stick with and not feel like you’re going to have to go back to the octane or fennec after two days, like you do with most other dlc vehicles, the delorean holds Up and look at the end of the day, there are some dlc cars you buy to flex and there are other cars you buy that you actually want to play with and enjoy most of the time the delorean fits both categories easily and it’s. Definitely one that’s worthy of being in your collection so enjoy the return of the delorean. I hope all of you that didn’t get it the first time can get it now and if you enjoyed this video, make sure to boom and destroy that like button demolish it. But alright, guys that’s all for now.
