This is dub audio projects here, with an update of my xlf 03a for background information, i have two of these xlf 03as. The original one that i purchased for my son last year started to have motor ecu differential problems, so i went ahead and started my upgrade process and i’m going to explain to you some of the upgrades that i’ve done to it so far today, starting with the Exterior i went ahead and purchased a triggy body from bank goods also outfitted with a 55 Millimetri 12 led light bar from ebay for around 20 Dollari. I also went ahead and purchased a four led lights, two clear in the front and two red for the rear to give the truck better ground clearance over rougher terrain, such as tall grass, i purchased generic hundred millimeter metal shocks from ebay for around twenty dollars. I also wanted to fix the toe out that the truck came originally, so i bought adjustable steering linkages from amazon. Moving along to the electronics, i went ahead and swapped out the original ecu to a hobby, star 60 amp to accommodate the larger built style connectors. I also had to purchase a four millimeter male to 3.5 female billet adapter we’re. Looking for another motor, i didn’t want to go with the 4847, so i opted for a 2838. I also went ahead and purchased a robinson racing 14 14 t pinion and to keep things cool. I purchased an hsp heatsink with a fan for around five dollars and to round everything else.
I purchased a turbo racing, uh four channel transmitter receiver. The controller has a lot of flexibility for configuration settings that i’ll go into a later video, ma nel complesso, this kind of rounds up all the modifications i’ve done to the truck so far, Sono, non del tutto sicuro, if i’m done modifying this vehicle. But i could tell you that it’s been a great experience so far and if i do upgrade i’ll make sure i keep everyone posted before i end this video.
