The diff part so remove the four screws here on the ring gear and this is going to pop up and so basically, what i want to show you here is Music. Sorry, i got the camera in one hand and trying to do this with the other. So when you pop this up, this is what you see now look at this. The diff fluid is pretty dirty now this is with a this is about a gallon and a half, so i would have to say you know, it’s, probably good, to replace the diff fluid every gallon. This is pretty bad and i’d like to show you there’s your one set of bevel gears and bevel shaft. The ready sets to keep the cost down are missing the bevel, shaft and gears running this way. Let’S try to get a better close up here there. You guys go, look how dirty that is, so i would definitely recommend Music uh. Changing your fluid at least once every gallon and while you’re in there might as well, do the upgrade and put the other bevel shaft and bevel gears in alright. So i got the diff draining there’s the bevel gears with the two shims there’s, the old single bevel shaft and here’s what’s, going into the new diff, so here’s the parts so we’re gon na place both front and rear cup joints or yokes. But for this rear, we’re going to be putting in the lightweight diff bevel shaft set, so this is an upgrade being lightweight, as you can see, there’s two of them these two compared to the old one, which is there will be going in and then o rings To seal the diff case at the yokes, once i tear this diff apart, you’ll see where these o rings go.
These are the parts that we’re using letting the diff drain out here there you go so yeah Music. This whole process guys have taken the car apart. I’M, probably 10 minutes into it, so all right guys so here’s parts going back into the diff. We got the upgraded double shaft gears Music. Here you go Music and just to show you. These are the new yolks or cups one of the diff. These are the lightweight ones compared to the stock stuff, Music stock rs, i should say Music, so be a nice upgrade to the rear, diff Music, all right for diff, fluid we’re using bones: motorsports 3000 cst and there’s, the lightweight bevel shaft, Music, with bevel gears and We’Re gon na go ahead and run this stuff.
