I did make another pinion change and today we’re going to try the reaction wheels in the rear just to see if there’s going to be a difference between those and the mickey thompsons. Yes, lord straight as an arrow like i said, this is with a 21 tooth, pinion 21 tooth pinion fella, so it was 53 miles an hour at 2.8, the last time out, with a 19 2 pinion read, so we dropped down on the et 2.76 uh still 53 miles an hour all right, so let’s get another hit, drag ready, it’s all right, nice, nice, nice, nice, like i said, it’s running smooth as you can see straight as an arrow and, like i said, the only adjustment i really made was taking out that smaller Uh shock collar in the rear, alright let’s see what we got see if we improved any of mile power read so we improved on the et, so it went from 2.76 to 2.75. Still at 53 miles an hour. We are on punch level 4. When i did the 2.8 on the 19 tooth, i was at a punch level, 3.
, so it’s hot out here today. Fellas so let’s make an adjustment real, quick and i did change my radio. I do have it on the dx5c right now expo go to throttle 15.. All right. I don’t want to overheat the motor make sure i’m ready on the all right Music nice hit, so that’s three nice hits three. Nice hits 21 tooth pinion, like i said: the et’s dropped down from 2.8 to 2.7, so that’s an improvement on the et mile power, still sitting at 53 miles an hour and it’s still all stock electronics. So if this third pass shows 53 miles an hour, then that’s pretty much all we’re gon na end up getting out of this stock setup um unless you go up, but i do have another gearing that i’m gon na try on sunday. So 2.76 53 miles an hour, so 21.2 pinion turn off all right. So yes, it’s hot out here today, um so 21, 2 pinion stock setup 53 miles an hour is pretty much where it’s topping out at right. Now, with the with the stock, gearing of the 84 tooth spur um, so 8421 is what i was at today. I don’t mind sharing my gearing right now. What i am going to do is like i said i do have two more spur gear showing up today, which i will be swapping out and changing tonight to this new gearing just to see if that makes a change.
A buddy of mine, big shout out to my boy, sean steele, who races with me in the rcdrl, gave me the advice to try this gearing out so i’m gon na try it out, like i said, i’m gon na try it out on sunday when we have Our sunday fun day and see what happens i’m gon na try one more hit fellas. I just tightened up the slipper clutch, a eighth of a turn. I just want to see something see if that makes a difference. Pass nice pass nice pass, not shabby let’s, get it back here and see what we did did the et improve. Did the mile power improve don’t, know let’s, see read. Yes, lord, the e.t dropped the 2.85, but we did gain one mile per hour. Just by tightening up the slipper cut, eighth of a turn so happy with that. Should i tighten it one more time, maybe get 55 let’s try. It drag ready all right, we’re back. We tighten up the clutch. Another eighth of a turn make sure i’m set yep ready to go all right for real last hit this time and like we say, as you guys can see now too, by taking out the reverse it’s, not giving that aggressive spin out at the end forward and Break only that’s, just me, udrc put me on to that. So let’s see what we got reed and it dropped down a couple miles per hour down to 52.
