Back eating boom on the beach Music test, Music let’s go ahead and get this thing out the box all right. So, as we all know it comes with the spectrum transmitter y’all know. Normally, i don’t show you all this stuff, because you’ve already seen them a thousand times, so it comes with the slt3 i’ll. Do the first run with this outside? So as soon as we get this out of the box, putting the batteries inside taking it outside doing a couple test hits so all right get that out of here production manual, your couple allen keys, yeah, classic tire pool um. Who cares about that right now? Oh man, i knew i was gon na – forget something be right: back: Music test, Music heading home Music. Alright, guys welcome back! So, as you can see here we got it out the box. We got the the lid off the top and, if you’ve already seen, of course, i went with the blue um first impressions, low c definitely did their r d um, as i stated all along as soon as i heard them that they were going to release this. I was getting it it’s built for racers and i would recommend this over. The traxxas drag slash to someone just wanting to get into the no prep scene, uh this and then also you know the dr 10, of course, with the dr 10.
As we all know, you have to do some work um to that in order to get it to perform uh correctly, um we’re gon na go outside and test this loosely out uh here in a second as soon as i get done with this unboxing and going Over the vehicle which i’m not gon na spend too much time on the mickey thompson tires feel way way better than those dr 10 stock tires um that came on the ready to run version. The adjustable wheelie bar um is also a great touch um. I can’t remember, i believe it comes with a 16 2 pinion stock out of the box. I didn’t read the manual i’m just guessing um, but i believe it’s a 16 2 opinion in there. What i’m going to do is i’m going to turn on my gnss connect it to that run it with the stop pinion i’m, going to come back inside, switch out the pinion to see what we get i’m, not going to say what i’m switching it to. But i’m just going to switch it out to see if we get a mile per hour difference um. As you can see. If you go over and check out earl moorhead’s video, he did do 132 foot test pass on the stock gearing out of the box and i think he got 43 uh 44 miles per hour. Sorry so you can head over to his channel and check that out stock out of the box 44 miles an hour 132 feet, not bad at all, um again low seat.
Just by the looks of this thing, uh definitely did their their research and development before they released this product um, you know, it’s, like i said, it’s built front shocks, feel feel good feel a little bit light, but not too bad. I believe it’s 40 weight shock oil in the front and it should be 70 in the rear. So i mean they. They feel good, though they do feel good, so yeah we’re going to get this thing outside not spend too much time in here talking about it because, like i said you guys have seen it already, i want to get some test hits out of this thing. So i’m gon na go put my china hobby uh shorty pack in here um and take it outside and get a couple hits guys. So stick around we’ll be right back all right youtube. It really saves your tires versus doing it out here on this rough road. All right well looks like my gnss: is dead it’s all good we’ll get some test hits in anyway go ahead and get our little light burn out.
I haven’t done no trim yet so we’ll see what happens three two, so you see it’s kicking hard. I mean let me set my trim because i haven’t set nothing yet all right: Music, Music, not bad. Like i say this first couple test hits. I wish my gnss was working but it’s, not Applause. Yes, sir, oh yeah, the brakes, the brakes are very, very touchy. As you all can see, when i got down to the end, i don’t know if y’all could have seen that or not, but once i got to the end and barely tapped brakes it it spin around. So i actually rolled into the throttle on that one um we’ll get one more test hit and then we’re gon na call it a day. I got ta get ready for my son’s award ceremony tonight. So it’s see how i wanted to spin when i hit brakes. All right hold on fellas i’m gon na set up a another camera angle, all right so we’re gon na get one grab you a second camera angle, also, so Applause not bad for the first couple hits out on this losing drag, not bad. For the first couple hits out um on this losi drag low. C22S drag car, hey. What can you say, hands down low c? I salute you. You definitely did your your research on this before releasing it to the public um out of the box. Great. The 25th and 26th, of course, i’m gon na have it out there running against the gapster and uh brake lights and docks and said, and the rest of the boys that’s coming down. After doing a couple test passes on the low c22s drag card, uh hands down out of the box um, this car is ready to perform um. Like i said, a couple test passes. I did the first few the tires one weren’t heated up enough, um that’s. Why? You saw it kind of kick off to the right and then, when i, you know ease into the throttle um, it went straight with no issues. I wish my gnss was charged. Unfortunately, it’s not so i couldn’t get any speeds out of it this time but monday. When i get back in town i will. I will have that working. I might just take it with me. I might take it with me. Out of town um get some passes in, but um again, losi two thumbs up a great job um on this piece of machinery. Again i ran that on a china hobby, shorty pack, so it’s a china hobby, 4, 900 milliamp, 100, 120 seat. So yeah it’s, your boy, coach drc, hope you guys like this video.
