Here please like and subscribe today, we’re going to be trying out some uh cheap wheels. I got off ebay, i got some uh called nora or in jorah i n j o r a wheels and i figured i’d try them out i’m. Just looking for this kind of look for my jeep here and they’re 30 shipped off ebay, so i figured we’d. Give them a shot and see what they look like. Instead of paying you know a hundred dollars for a name brand bead, Lock, nice bead, Lock, figured we’d, try these first but uh i’ll, try to put them on some uh. Mickey thompson’s here see how they look right. Now i got the white wagon wheels on my jeep here i had some uh chrome ones on it, but i uh stole them off of it to uh on my fall, fall guide, Truck, build uh i’ll have a video coming out on that soon, but uh yeah Let’S get these out of the bag and see what they look like. Let me pause for a second all right got everything out of the bag. This bag comes with no name brand, no instructions, no anything. The only way i knew was the enormous because of the ebay ad, so they could be knockoffs of knockoffs it’s hard telling but i’m just going by the ebay ad. There is hundreds of listings on there. You can get them in uh aluminum. You can get them in uh black and i think a gold or yellowish color also, but you got them out they machine pretty decent don’t.
Look too bad. Your bead lock is four bolts in the back. All your five bolts in the front do is hold on the center cap and which kind of a pain in the butt, but it does look decent, dus laten we, try and put these in a tire and see if they’re worth mine or not all the bolts are All mixed together in one bag, it’s pretty easy to figure out what goes where just two different sizes of bolts in here. The big ones are for the the bead lock and the small ones are for the center cap. OK. Eerste, off put the ring in the middle of the tire zoom out here might be easier: okay make sure it’s in there center fits good, make sure the foam ain’t hung up on it anywhere all right, since the front is the wider piece. I’M gon na start by putting in the front first and it it falls in well that’s, either a good sign or a bad sign, we’ll find out, but it just falls right in there. Oke, then the back piece and try and line it up with the bolt holes inside there. It also falls right in a couple bolts started so far, het is, probably some of the easiest wheels i’ve ever put together. The other two bolts started whoops and double check. Make sure everything’s looking okay, there ain’t no weird gaps anywhere around here. Oke, we’ll go a little tighter with the bolts i just kind of criss cross from each other and keep working them a little bit at a time.
This one here feels a little strange make sure it’s not cross threaded nope. I bought numerous cheaper wheels off of ebay over the years and sometimes they’re hit and miss. Sometimes they don’t fit the tires very good, and sometimes they work great, Natuurlijk, everything’s cheaper quality. You know the aluminum softer the bolts will strip out really easy, so you just got ta take that into account don’t torque, anything down real tight or they will strip out. So we got a little bit of a gap on one side: okay got them all tight. I got ta say that was the easiest bead lock wheel. I have ever put together if i didn’t mention before these are one five fives that’s, usually about all i deal with on these builds. I do is one five fives, maar ja. That was extremely easy. All these uh wagon wheels – sometimes you really get a fight with them, putting them together, Natuurlijk, it’s a little different design uh, but three of these went good and one of them i had to fight with for probably an hour, and i don’t know you kind Of have that, with these wagon wheels, sometimes they go smooth, sometimes they don’t, maar de mens. I was really impressed with this. It’S got a good look to it. Sometimes to get the look you’re going for the picture you have in your head. Sometimes you have to buy a cheap wheel just to go after the look you’re you’re wanting but yeah that worked great.
I have a spare tire i’m gon na mount. Let me uh, try it it’s a different brand tire, so we’ll try it on a different tire to make sure it still goes easy uh. Let me pause you for a second all right. I did this off camera. This is the rc four wheel, drive groundhog and it also went together very easy. No issues fits great. I will be using it for a spare on the back. I got five of these and so using one for a spare, but so far really impressed all right. Let me uh, let me do the rest and get them on the jeep and we’ll see what they look like all right guys. I got them all on there and i do i’m pretty impressed with how they look. I wish they were kind of dished in a little more, but for the price and look i’m not going to complain. The only issue i ran into was zoomed in here on these center caps, the five bolts that hold it on they weren’t threaded deep enough for the bolts to go in uh it’s, like they were only threaded halfway through the wheel and then the bolts run out Of threads before they tighten the center cap down now i have five of these wheels and two of them tightened down, and three of them did not so i’m going to have to run a tap through the wheel or get shorter bolts.
I think i have a tap that small but beings. That was the only issue i can’t be too disappointed, but i do love how they went together and how the finished product looks. Especially with this tire i think, het is, a good looking combination. Um see i did the spare on the back it’s, not the same tire but i’m, not gon na buy another tire just for a spare, but you know the bolts actually went all the way in on this one but yeah, Geloof ik, for the money. I think it’s well worth it uh. One thing i did try. I tried i had some of these pit bulls laying around uh. They are the braven berserker and they are also one 155. I tried probably for half an hour putting a wheel on the wheels in this tire and it was a no go uh by the time i did get one squeezed together. It ended up with probably an eighth of an inch weird looking gap. All the way around the tire but i’m, not gon na fault, the rim, because these are kind of picky on the rims they go on. I tried putting them on a set of uh chrome 155 wagon wheels and i barely got them on that. I got him on there, but it was not a good time so i’m not going to blame the rim on that. I think it’s more so these pit bull tires i’ve heard they could be pretty finicky, so we’ll try them on something else, some other time but yeah.
Let me know what you guys think i’m pretty happy with the look of it. I’Ve kind of been toying around with many different rims on this rig, and i think i finally got what i wanted yeah. I think they look pretty good but yeah. Let me know what you guys think uh, like i said i got another uh truck video coming out soon: it’s a fall guy truck i’m building from the old tv show, uh i’d be out in next week or so Music, maar ja.
