Will this work on standard/manual vehicles?
I have this same alarm and it arm and disarm but the actual doors don't lock or unlock and the parking lights don't turn on but if I arm it and open the door it goes off please help!!!!
This unit has serious issue in my opinion. It DOES NOT relock/rearm car if I disarm and do not open a door/trunk/hood within 30 sec or longer. It stays open. Though manual says that after disarm LED should rapidly blink waiting for somebody to get in. It doesn’t happen. LED just goes off that nothing happens then. However this feature becomes available if I enable Passive Arm/Lock via programming mode. But it then locks and arm car passively after opening/closing door. I don’t want this behavior because it may result into situation with keys to be locked inside. Is that normal that rearm/relock is only available with passive arm/lock enabled? Or my unit is bogus?

My prestige APS997E alarm is giving me problems so when I go to remote start it will start for a little bit then turn off then restart then again restart I think it does it twice or three times then the siren goes off can you help me with this problem or steer me in the right direction and thanks for the other help it worked great.

I brought a crimestoppet positive door lock inverter couldn't get it to work so I brought some five pin relays with wire connection s haven't tried yet don't know how to wire it to my 1996 suburban with 6 wire relay with ban doors

You mention this is compatible with iData. do you know of any headunits with a built-in blackbox function that could tie into the APS997E?
I was looking for an android based headunit preferably but It'd be nice to have any headunit capable of connecting to the idata port.
