Now i am no car expert yet, but i am learning i built myself. A ramp we’ve been having some fun with the new line of xk cars. I can’t wait to step up to some of our big corrallies and we’re gon na have more cars on the way i was learning on something like this. This is the brave uh from xk innovations. It’S about a hundred dollars comes ready to run and i loved it because it has plenty of torque to be able to manipulate in mid air. If you’ve ever watched car videos, you will see uh when guys flip their cars, they can send them up and then flip them and rotate them in all different directions in the air, with the goal, Uiteraard, to uh always try your best to land down here, because The more and more you land on your tire or on your front or on your top, the more stuff you’re gon na break and that just comes with the territory with cars. You want to bash them, so you should expect to do some car maintenance uh. Just like you would on your real car, even though we don’t take those on jumps, but basically this video again is to just go over some of the tips of the the technique, because i am learning it and i got to a point where i can feel Comfortable now i finally train my uh trigger finger uh along with my brain, to know what direction i need to send the car, whether reverse forward, to manipulate it in mid air.
So let’s just do this real, Snelle! You leave the ramp, your car’s in midair, Laten we, say it’s like this. If you hit the throttle, if you goose the throttle, your car is going to want to do a backflip. If you goose, the reverse, your car is going to want to do a front flip. So that is the layman’s terms of it uh when you’re in midair. So as you can see from some of this footage, i did it well, i didn’t do it well, but what you really want to do when you, as you’re approaching your jump uh whatever ramp? You build i, i built mine, tried to be about 45 degrees at the top of the uh, the lip, but when you are about to leave the ramp that’s, when you actually would love to have your throttle in the brake position, you want to let the momentum That you’ve built up carry so when you jump, if you’re in the brake position, your your car should be able to maintain more of a level flight. If you will and then you have the ability to either hit forward on throttle or reverse on throttle. What i was doing, that’s a hard thing to time and that’s why something like this is perfect to practice with, because i’m trying to practice that what you’ll see in a lot of my videos, i’m pulling the throttle. I hit the jump and i’m still on the throttle, so my car lifts off and it does this, but then it was cool that i hit the reverse and my car’s nose starts coming down and a few times i managed to it would come down like this And i would pull the throttle again and try to get it to land on its tires right now, Ik ben, at the point where just landing on all fours and being able to drive back around for another go is awesome um, but i can’t wait to start trying To do more advanced tricks, because you see these guys, they hit the ramp in all different directions, but that is uh inherently.
What you’re, looking to do so, just again to reiterate when you’re in midair reverse, is gon na push your nose down full throttle is gon na pull your butt down and uh. When you just break it, should you know, should more neutral uh leave it neutral if it is neutral, uh already to begin with, but that’s a quick tip, guys i’m gon na get learning more about cars. I’Ve already done some fixes to this one, because i’ve probably jumped this now 250 times in about the week that i’ve had it um and it is.
