, Muziek, hey everyone rich here from the rcnetwork.com, and today we are taking a look at the enduro 24 from element rc now in this video we’ll be actually taking a look at what comes inside of the box. We’Re going to take this thing out and run this thing, i’ll give you some of my final thoughts about the enduro 24 En, at the very end of this video we’ll, be giving one of this away now. First off i’d, like to thank aiming hobbies for sending me over this enduro 24 to review, as well as the giveaway truck now, if you can’t shop, local, definitely check out amain hobbies, they have everything in stock at the best prices and they definitely have all the Coolest things in rc with that this is the first time i’ve actually taken a look at one of the element: rc trucks. Nwo, Natuurlijk, this is from team associated element. Rc is kind of like their adventure, brand kind of all their trail trucks and that sort of thing – and this is their first 124 skill vehicle – that they’ve released pretty much everything has been 110 skill to the state with element rc. Nwo, Natuurlijk, dit is een 124 Behendigheid. Four wheel drive electric rtr, so you pretty much get everything in the box to get. You started on day, one except for four aaa batteries for the remote. Now this truck is available in two different color schemes: the red and blue version, which i have here and test it out and there’s, also the black and yellow which i’ll actually be giving away towards the end of this video.
This video is brought to you by the ridge wallet now i’ve had my ridge wallet for over six months now, and i couldn’t be happier it has all the looks and the function i expect from a wallet in 2020.. This thing it’s, so slim and streamlined. I now wear it in my front pocket so no more lopsided sitting filing cabinet under half of your ass. Although each ridge wallet can hold up to 12 cards, i’ve downsized the amount of cards i carry down to six, keeping the entire wallet down to 12 Millimeters. In width, even thinner than some of my knives balancing out my knives, i decided to add a new ridge wallet to my edc, Lineup, the stonewash titanium. The look and feel of the titanium is amazing. With its weathered look, i opted for the money clip on this version and i used the clip to hold it in my pocket when, when there’s a handy link in the video description, along with the discount code, to make the decision easy, you know what is better Without this big wallet it’s more comfortable now i really love the fact that element rc went through all the effort to give a lot of good information here on the back of the box, a lot of technical details for such a small tiny little truck, not one Cool little parting gift that you get with any element rc purchase, especially their rtrs, you kind of get a little mini skill garage on the inside of the box.
So simply cutting this thing open. You can kind of have like your own skill garage to put your tiny truck into i’m, not into that kind of thing, but hey if you like that kind of stuff you’re all set up inside the box from element. Speaking of inside the box, you get a few booklets about your new truck, a one cell lithium polymer usb charger, two long body posts, a very tiny 1s pack, 520 milliampère, 10C 3.7 volts and the team associated 91 803 remote control let’s dive more into this control. Nwo, as far as rtr 2.4 gigahertz remotes in a 100 rtr, this thing’s pretty darn cool and i was pretty impressed just getting the batteries into it and actually my first use of it as well. But team associated did a great job of giving you some of the functions you’d want in an rtr mode without really dumbing it down too much now on the top. Here you have all of your throttle and steering trims. You do have throttle and steering dual rates. The on off switch and also a reversing switch, also a channel three button really haven’t gotten into that one. Yet you do have a fixed antenna right here. Little shark fin, the wheel is quite nice and actually quite large. It does have a foam wheel, which is a nice touch. The throttle is quite responsive and the coolest part about this remote is the kind of quick release feature simply pull down on this.
Dit ding., slides off, comes out in two pieces, so it’s great to kind of pack away separate the batteries from the base here. So you definitely know it’s off, not wasting your batteries, and i thought that was the coolest feature about this remote. Now it does take four aaa batteries. You’D have to supply those yourself, but after that you’re pretty much locked and loaded. You just drop this thing in and you’re ready to run and finally, the enduro 24. now out of the box. Initially, it kind of has like a comical almost cartoonish. Look to it, mostly because of the paint job now scale wise. They did a pretty good job of capturing a almost ford early, 80s f150 kind of look, maybe like a a 90s ford ranger almost as well. Now the body is a one piece design just made from lexan. It is screen printed on the underside and pretty much everything on it is a decal, including the front grille. Nwo, Helaas, they did leave the windows as a decal as well, but it is painted on the underside or screen printed. So you’ll never have that kind of clear look for the windows now as far as wheels and tires they did a great job of making a kind of replica interco super swamper for the tires definitely looks like it not officially licensed and the wheels are kind of Like that kind of method, 101 look to the wheels so definitely a cool wheel and tire package, other notable features on the exterior right.
Here you have a great kind of push bar bumper up here on the front with working led lights. It does have a fair lead on the front of it, not sure if you can really mount any kind of winch to the bumper or internally, but it does have that feature taking the body off requires removing four of the tiniest body pins i’ve ever seen once You do that the body just comes right off now. This is where the enduro 24 really shines. They did a great job on the chassis overall, you do have a steel ladder frame design that we’ve seen on so many trucks, both 1 10 scale and down to 124 Schaal, it’s set up with a front motor mount and a chassis mounted servo moving over to A transmission and then on down to a divorced transfer case in the center of the truck right above the skid plate. Nwo, towards the back, you get the receiver slash, Esc, combo and in the far back of the truck, is where you mount that teeny tiny little lipo. Now as far as the suspension, they are definitely boingers. No fluid inside of these shocks at all. Definitely long springs. That’S all that these tiny little trucks really need. Looking at the business side of this, you do get four link suspensions on both front and rear. Although this is a chassis mounted, servo there’s, no panhard bar. So there is just a tiny bit of bump steer when you cycle the suspension as far as working on your enduro 24.
It uses all philips hardware throughout the truck, except for a couple of ball ends that i saw that were hex. So no hex hardware on this truck pretty much need to break off those old phillips screwdrivers to work on this truck. Now it wouldn’t be right unless we compared its biggest rival, the axial scx 24, which is on the right hand, side of the screen very, very similar in size, obviously different bodies, different licensing and what i noticed most about these two trucks is the tires on the Axial is quite a bit larger than on the enduro. All right enough. Talking let’s, go see how this thing drives: Applaus, Muziek, Muziek, dus Muziek, dus Muziek, dus Muziek, Muziek. So what are my thoughts of the enduro 24.? Goed, Algemene, i think element did a great job of giving us a scaled down version of their 1 10 Schaal, enduro now, in all fairness, the lack of licensing on this truck probably brought the price point down about a good 20 bucks overall and with that being Said i think they could have improved on a couple of things specifically about the body. First thing give us the clear windows. Second thing: a single color paint job would have done this truck so much better. I think they captured all of the scale looks of like a ford f, 150 truck from the early 80s, but the paint job just kind of destroys the look of a scaled truck overall performance from the chassis was outstanding.
I love the fact that they put the motor in the front, along with the servo, kept the weight of the truck towards the front. The divorce transfer case just makes sense as well. The driveline was solid throughout. I think the biggest hiccup on the chassis was the wheels and tires the tires are just a tiny bit too small. For this size of a truck. A quarter inch is a big difference in a 1 24 scale vehicle and finally, the power was just a little bit lacking on the 1s lipo that was included in the truck. I think if this was capable of 2s, not sure i kind of looked and didn’t see if it was capable of 2s, but i think that’ll make a big difference on this truck if it can handle that power. The other thing i noticed was the lights were kind of flickering i’m, not sure if that was when i was under load on the rocks and the lights just was losing the battle of where the power was going to on that single cell lipo. But in the end, it’s about user experience – and i had a blast driving this thing – it’s so much fun – kind of scaling down from a 1 10 scale to the tiny trucks and really planning your lines. A lot more careful because a one inch boulder makes a huge difference in these trucks and avoiding that will get you going from point a to point b but now it’s time for you to have a chance to win one.
