I lost my remote what should I get to replace it
How do I program my Samsung tv remote to it. Itβs rf. Point anywhere.
You said this would be a good option if you lost your Roku remote. How would you set-up the new remote if you lost your old one? It seems the set-up requires a working Roku remote. The new remote seems to be missing the headphone jack and the microphone button and input – both are present on my Roku 3 Externe. I have used the voice search many times and I don't think I could do that with this remote.
What keeps this remote from working on TCL Roku series 5 Tv? I have the Costco model with the remote that has voice search.
My Roku 3's remote broke about a year ago. Since it has to be an RF and not IR remote, the replacement remotes cost as much or nearly as much as a brand new in the box Roku Streaming Stick. I went with a new stick. Even this remote at $30 won't work with the sticks and the sticks are $45 on Amazon right now.
Ik heb 2 URC MX-780 RF Remotes originally programmed by a home entertainment center when we purchased our systems. I want to add ROKU but would like to do it myself and avoid paying someone. Can you (or any follower) point me in the right direction?
As someone with hand disability remote buttons are better for me on top not the side.
I hate the volume buttons being where they are. I always hit them when gripping the remote.
I understand the 13 programmable buttons are IR (line of sight). What about the Roku buttons? Are they RF or IR?
My ONLY reservation, why pay nearly $30 for this remote when Roku replacement remotes are much cheaper?
A good step in the right direction. Actually a "dumbed down" Harmony with dedicated Roku features would be better in my opinion. I'd want to have a key pad for channels on the TV. And be able to control a home theater amplifier. I've tried a couple of Harmonys, but their Roku feature set is considerably lacking. Finally as already pointed out, I'd want it to come with bluetooth and a headphone jack so it can control higher level Rokus and play audio late at night when the household is sleeping and I want to listen with my earphones.
What if you donβt have the original tv remote? Does it come with input codes
No voice search button on the universal remote.
Would this work better with a roku tv than the roku remote?
No headphone jack is a deal breaker. I use the remote finder option also.
