SCX24 C10 GEEN BUDGET BUILD gaat Full Metal

Dus vandaag, Ik ben, going to kind of put some finishing touches on the no budget build um. I stopped in at the florida rc outlet in jacksonville and uh. They happen to have some power hobby products and uh. Here we have some uh. These are some metal drive shafts, we have the uh the transmission gear set, we won’t be using the uh spur gear or the slipper, which is over here in this truck, because we already have the hot racing .05 mod uh gear in there to go along with The surpass outrunner, but we will be putting the metal gears in the back of the transmission. Now this set uh. This is a power hobby and in the mega mud bolt. I added a set of gears like this um. When i built this one, and actually they were kyx brand and to tell the truth guys, i can’t see any difference whatsoever between the power hobby and the kyx brand um. I think they’re, probably both the same and just different branding put on those so uh anyway. We’Re gon na put them in, and i guess maybe we’ll be able to tell if one is better than the other, but like i said, i can’t see any difference and we did finally find a set of uh hot racing links. So that’s gon na basically complete us out we’ve got uh what’s left on this truck. This plastic is the uh, the links the drive shafts and the gears in the back of the transmission.

Everything else has been replaced, so this is going to get us to where we need to be we’ll. Have a completely uh metal drive train in this truck uh metal links everything’s going to be metal, so i don’t know if you’re going to want to watch me install all this stuff, so i’ll just get it in here and then we will check it out when I’M, all done all right since we’re uh we’ve got the transmission out. I just uh. I thought i’d go ahead and put these gears in, so you could see it’s uh, really pretty simple ordeal. We’Re gon na need that gear and we’re going to need this gear. Hier, Oh, these are all spares for sometime in the future. I suppose so we’ll start with this guy here and he comes off that way. This guy here just goes right back on. You see there’s a little hex in the back, so it just goes the one way and then this little guy here same same thing except he comes off the back, so we just uh put him back on the little hex here. If i can get it lined up the right way, then the bearing goes right back on behind him and he just slips into place just like that, and we put her cover back on and then we can uh start putting our motor plate and our spur gear Back in all right guys so we’re here we’ve got everything put back together.

Zoals je zien, we have the full metal gear set in here. Everything seems to be pretty smooth um. I did have to uh kind of press the small gear the gear up here. I kind of had to press that onto the shaft. The hex was a bit tight, but other than that everything went together. Real good everything seems to be pretty smooth, so let’s move on with it all right guys. As i went to install the uh new hot racing links, i opened the package up and uh discovered something kind of disturbing. Zoals je zien, in the back, we we don’t have the little ball connector that’s supposed to go on the inside of that o rings are missing and the uh the little little whatever they call them, they’re the little balls or whatever it is that goes in There they’re they’re, not there, so that’s kind of a problem all right. So luckily i had a couple sets of these hot racing steering links with me so uh. I was able to uh rob these little balls from this guy right here and uh. That was the drag link, so at least i got this together and i didn’t have to rob parts from a different truck to get it so let’s get it installed all right guys. So we got this thing. Pretty much done. We’Ve got uh all the hot racing parts in all hot racing links, Uh, Assen, brass hot racing, steering links.

We got the power hobby drive shafts, we have the power hobby uh gears in the back of the transmission hot racing. Gears up front surpass out runner, fury, Tech, lizard, esc reefs 99 Servo. We got the cc hand, inner fender wells this uh. This guy is about loaded out man. We got the old man, emu shocks, we got uh. These are the uh kinetic accent: bead locks, the rc four four wheel drive tires uh for all practical purposes. This is a brand new truck guys. Uh it’s got one run on it. Uh back when you know the get drive, train was kind of stock. Dus eigenlijk., the gears that are inside of these axles have one run and tires have one run uh pretty much. Everything else is brand new and uh. It was. Weet je, not a cheap truck to build guys to put all this stuff in here um. I could have had a pretty nice uh 110 scale rig for what’s in this little guy, but you know i did just want to see what we could uh what we could do with this thing. How far could we take it and uh? I think it’s there now uh what i’m gon na do with it. Volgende, who, who knows uh, i guess we’ll, do maybe some running videos with it or something and uh. You know move on to some other projects, but there we have it guys uh that’s, about the end of the uh no budget, Bouwen, Geloof ik, i’m pretty happy with where we’re at with it now and uh all right guys.
