Super trucks which you see the real thing right behind me here and today, we’re going to go through a little bit of the startup procedure. Charging the battery and getting the controller and car turned on so first things first once yet, once you get it out of the box, you’re gon na want to charge your battery. Dus, like I mentioned in the other video, we have a USB charger, so it connects to a regular USB brick, like you get out of your phone and first thing: you’ll notice is the red flashing. Light just means that the Chargers getting power you plug in your battery it’s got two cords this cord. Here it goes to the car and the other one is for charging it. So you plug in your battery into the charger and while it’s charging the light will be solid once it’s fully charged. It turns off, like you just saw there. I pre charge these batteries, so no light on shows that it’s fully charged next thing. We’Re gon na have to get into the body so see this body here is our custom toy one matches the real truck right behind us here. So just like any RC car you’ve got your four body: pins, pull those off and off. Comes the body let’s hear some of the upgrades we made are our bumpers that are just like the real stadium truck and unique feature we did on them is incorporated these crumple zones because we know you guys are going to bash them into things and selves soften The blow and protect the rest of the components, so our battery container is right here.
One nice feature that it has is a pre drilled, second set of holes which allows you to upgrade your battery capacity. At any point, should you wish to put a larger one in, but essentially you’re just going to throw your battery in here and do up the velcro record so that strap holds it down? Then you take the red connector and plug it in to each other and then important thing when you go to start up your car turn on the controller first, so having the controller on will help it it’s already looking for the car to pair with, and then You just go and switch on the the car, this one’s just a press down and we should be paired and ready to go so now I’ll go over some of the features on the remote you’ll see. If you look at this one here, just statically we’ve got a bit of angle in the steering so that’s our top feature here on the steering wheel, that’s your trim angle. So you can adjust that and you can see without touching the steering wheel, it’s moving the steering wheels back to Center. So if you notice your car is driving it’s, always veering off to the right or to the left, try playing with the trim angle here and you can get that tuned. So it drives nice and straight, and then you get your still getting your full steering angle side to side. So part of the steering system here is obviously controlled by the servo down here and this linkage mechanism there’s a nice breakaway feature here.
So if you slam into something hard, het is, hopefully going to protect the servo by having the breakaway here so another feature on the remote here. This is this lower nob and that’s the throttle trim. So if you’re, just starting out driving you’re going to want to back this down all the way – and you can see that just setting this upside down here – you can see that the thrall speed is somewhat reduced and then just adjusting this knob. You can hear that the maximum speed of the vehicle is increased by adjusting that so for more advanced drivers and we’re really trying to race your buddies. You can crank this all the way max, but just be warned. It will reduce the battery life and some temperatures might get a bit warmer, but that’s up to you to decide your skill level to train and how fast you want to go, but you can play around with this knob and have some fun with it. Some other features, like I mentioned in the other video we’ve, got our 550 brushed motor and so it’s a massive massive motor for the size of this platform and the weight of it. So we get some crazy top speeds out of this car and if it has enough traction, it’ll do wheelies and backflips and all that coming out of the motor we have our metal gear, drivetrain aluminum driveshaft and helps put the power to the ground. As I mentioned the other videos here, we wanted to provide a really nice sturdy chassis, so we’ve got our all aluminum base plate of the chassis, aluminum shock towers and our aluminum oil filled shocks.
So these are some of the the upgrades that we wanted and we were looking for in in an RC platform, and we feel that we can provide a great product at this price point for you. The shocks are tunable by adjusting these preload rings here. So that kind of changes the stiffness of the spring. So if you’re going this to to be hitting some really big jumps, you might want to twist them down a little bit to help help cushion up that ride and give it a little bit higher ride height. But if you’re gon na be racing on on some some loose surfaces without too many big bumps, if you raise the preload up, that’ll, actually help the rear grip. More and you’ll have a little bit more forward bite. So putting the body on is the same as taking it off. We have our nice body mounts here. You just set it on and throw your pins in, so battery charging time is going to be about three hours, two to three hours and we do sell additional battery kits and they’ll be available soon on our site. If you want extra runtime, but I think these things are a blast, we had them out the other day racing around the track, with the real stadium Trek going at the same time and it’s impressive.
