We hope you’re having a great day spending time with loved ones and staying safe, especially on the roads, and also a massive merry christmas to our family back in new zealand who, sadly, we couldn’t be with today, because of travel restrictions. But thankfully we had face time which made us feel connected and experienced a little bit of what it would have been like to be home christmas day. The number one thing on christmas is, Natuurlijk, spending time with your family and loved ones. You won’t miss out on any of our future rc adventures and today’s adventure man. We got it. We got the world’s best rc. Ten slotte, the x max – and i am so excited to get inside this box and see how big this thing is. I i have not yet opened this box, so let’s jump right in, Oh, O jee, it’s huge. Does that sound like my original rex, Muziek? Meer? Oh, my god it’s so big! Oh, mijn goedheid! Oh this thing is massive. Dit ding., O jee, it’s so bad it’s, zo slecht! This thing is absolutely massive. Yeah close enough! Oh, my back so so in the box comes the manuals which you should read: some stickers accessories, a high speed, spur gear tools, the remote control and, Natuurlijk, the traxxas x max Music. My man seriously, would you just look at this truck? It is absolutely epic – and this is you know when we talk about it’s, a beast it’s, a beast it’s, our beast: this is the beast, it is epic and we cannot wait to get this thing out and drive it around starting off with the body. This green color is insane guys it’s, so nice i’m really glad i waited patiently to get the green one because it always sells out super quick also to protect the body. We’Ve got this part which we’ll link in in the description below if you’re interested you’re, not wrong about this body and another cool thing is there are no body clips there’s, just this single clip at the back flip, the switch pull it up and off the body Comes super easy and looking under the hood, this absolute beast reminds me a lot of the traxxas max just juiced up hello, no guys i’m, not on the juice i’m, just bulking on the band i’ve seen a couple of guys put in the comments it’s a bit Of a compliment, so thank you, but no, i am uh seriously putting on a lot of weight during this quarantine tricks.

In this beast. We hebben een 1275 kv motor with a massive heatsink and two cooling fans on top to help keep that motor nice and cool accompanying. That is a 8s capable waterproof esc and then, Natuurlijk, you need your batteries, and this truck runs on 8s. You can also run it on sixes if you like, but we’re, going to be going straight to 80s we’re, not mucking around here and we’ve got two full cell life pros that we’re going to be running. They are the smart technology, because the server that comes on this track is larger than the standard size. It has an output of 365 ounces of torque and 0.17 seconds in speed, and it should be plenty of talk and speed to move. These enormous tires, which feel pretty nice to feel nice and tough, nice and strong ready to rip up some dirt. And there is also an optional upgrade servo, which will boost up that talking speed, and we might look at that in a future video looking at the shocks. They are enormous, they feel dialed in really nicely. I think they feel a bit better than the max of shocks when that was stuck looking at the drivetrain. It is all metal making it very durable for when you go out for those big bear sessions, unlike the traxxas max where the drivetrain had a lot of plastic, and it would tend to break this. Now the truck is completely constructed of plastic and this plastic is of very high quality. What you’d expect from a high end, traxxas rc vehicle? It has a massive front and rear bumper, which should be able to absorb those big crashes that we have all the time and the pros of the plastic is it’s flexible. It doesn’t bend and staving we’ve had some rc’s in the past, where, after landing, a big jump, the chassis bends and then, Natuurlijk, you’ve got to either replace the chassis or try and fix it with plastic. It just flexes back into shape and if you do break because, eventually, if you push anything too far, it will break if you do bring any plastics on this rc it’s very cheap to find replacement parts. The plastic is a lot cheaper than metal parts. One of the cons, Hoewel, with being flexible, is that drivetrain in the middle we talked about earlier that’s made out of middle. So if the chassis flexes that middle drivetrain, it might flex when it stays bent it’s not going to bounce back to its original position. So that can be a con when your truck’s all made out of plastic. But your drivetrain is made out of metal and, while we’re on the topic of plastics, these front and rear arms look extremely beefy and i’m sure they’re going to hold up to a lot of abuse when we take this out for its durability test, the bearings are: All sealed, which is great to help, keep the mud and the water out be careful guys.

Just because that’s sealed doesn’t mean you can just go out and water i’m sure the truck is waterproof and will survive, but those bearings if wet and not dried off properly. They can eventually seize up and that’s gon na put a lot of strain on your drivetrain and in your motor. If you’re driving around with seized up bearings so make sure if you do run it on wet conditions, dry it off properly and before your next run. Just give it a roll and make sure the car is moving freely if there’s any kind of stiffness in the drivetrain. There could be a problem with your bearing and you may need to replace it now. I’M sure we’ve missed some points about the traxxas x maxx.
