We are going to be taking this toyota supra rc car, which in reality is just a hbi sport, 3 and we’re, going to be turning it into an off road rally beast, but you alex matthew. How do you plan to do that? I’M glad you asked so who here remembers this rc crawler it’s the mn86k. I did a review on it not long ago. I’Ll leave the link up here, so you can check that out. It comes with some awesome set of wheels that are gon na fit directly onto my supra. These are the wheels here, looks pretty cool. I, like the tread it’s going to be a great size, hey guys, we’re, trying to reach 10 000 subscribers by the end of july. So if you want to help support channel make sure to subscribe, there is a little red button down below that says. Subscribe make sure to click that hit the notification bell. So you don’t miss when i upload and like the video so starting off we’re, going to have to glue these wheels together and make sure that they stay on there and they don’t come off. Glueing is pretty simple: we just pull back the wheel run a bead of blue along here. Stick it back on and pull which is in place. Now after we finish gluing, we can put the wheels back on Music. That looks awesome so, as you can see here guys, the off road tyres are on, but the body needs to be cut down and probably adjust the height just a little bit.
So we can get a little bit more clearance, not just height, but as well as turning clearance. It does roll, but once those do balloon a little bit it’s going to scrape really bad Music Music and now we’re just going to trim a little bit of the front bumper, because this is going to rub Music. Oh man, look at that! This thing is going to be awesome. If you’re wondering why i’m doing this, i have no clue, i guess i’ve seen the wheels there. I realized they’re gon na fit on uh small minor modifications, but i thought why not let’s go for it. I do stupid things. So you guys don’t have to so let’s go test it out all right, guys, you ready for this Applause. Oh man, this thing is so much fun. Full throttle, Applause, okay, that was like quarter throttle. Oh still works Applause, Music Applause, Applause, guys you’ve got an on road car. You should definitely do this guys. We ended up breaking the spur gear man uh. This is the second one, we’ve broken so i’m. Definitely gon na have to upgrade to a metal one. The reason i broke the spur gear – probably due to a lot of flex in the plastic chassis and then it just stripped, but i think if we can get a metal spur gear, then we’ll come back out and give it another go i’m. Having way too much fun not to keep going with this, my glued wheels seem to hold up all right.
These are actually really nice and grippy, and maybe next time we should probably only just run it on a 2s since 3s is probably too much power and it may be a lower kv motor, because this one’s, like 5900, kv and probably way too much power. To put through a plastic spoon but that’s all part of the fun guys learn fix and go again. So i apologize if it’s only a short video but i’ve had heaps of fun out here. Uh i’m definitely going to do more videos on it.
