Now. Overkill is actually a 1 7 scale. Mojave exp from arma now i’ve never owned a vehicle like this. Before i mean this thing, sways and there’s just awesome suspension movement. Just look at that. This is gon na, be a pretty fun project, guys. Why? Well, i could tell you the one reason as to why it is slouching, so much in the rear is because we have one of these bad boys in it. Now this is a 1100 kv. This is the blown motor actually from colossus that pulled 10 000 pounds in the previous video. Now, if you guys haven’t seen that be sure to check that out, i believe there’s gon na be a link like somewhere over there. So just click that – and you will be brought to that video all right. So looking underneath, we have an xlx2 with an 1100 kv that isn’t blown yeah. That really helps now, as you guys can see, the esc is mounted smack in the middle. Just look at that that the amount of weight that’s just like right over here is just making it rebound so easily. It’S, just ridiculous actually needs thicker springs stronger spring, whatever i’d, rather the esc here, rather than well anywhere else, because if i were to put it here, one i’d have to chop all this off and i don’t want to do that because it’s going to get in The way the gears – these are actually something that i picked up from a local hobby shop, they’re, really really long.
Um tie rods from i don’t know, maybe a revo or something, but i actually connected it to the front now i’m, not really going to be sending this thing to the moon. Jumping 40 50 feet in the air with it and i’m not going to be running it into cinder block walls. I don’t entirely bash. My cars like that, so removing the tower to tower brace is completely fine on my end, but i still wanted a little bit of stability. If anything were to happen. Well, that’s, why that’s it see we are geared kind of uh kind of high but keep in mind we’re running 6s at 1100 kv, so that’s really really low kv to really be playing with honestly, but the gears are geared up just to compensate. So we get the rpm back from the voltage loss and the kv being so low. Keep in mind, we’re also not running 8s, because i actually want the tires to stay on the rim yeah and also, by the way, guys i’m only really putting about one video. So what we’re going to do today, as you guys, could see all the cones over here. I made up a little bit of a track now it’s, nothing insane, nothing crazy, but it’s definitely going to be pretty cool to just play around and rock and roll literally with this kind of suspension and just enjoy the car for what this is so i’m.
Definitely excited for it and on top of that, well, technically, you guys are going to be on top of it. You guys are going to be going for a little bit of a ride as well, so we’re going to see how well that does so before we actually get ready to do the course. I actually have the gps on here, because i really want to see how quick this vehicle is with this gearing and motor and everything only on 6s. So me, knowing these kind of vehicles where the body is just so big around them, air’s going to want to come underneath and actually make it lift so i’m going to try to hit full throttle and uh. I guess we’ll see how well we can do all right, so we’re, all zeroed out and here’s the gopro, so we’re. Also gon na have the gopro footage running at the same time see how it goes. Alrighty, oh, my god. It took flight and i i hit the brakes as hard as like as quick as i could wow and there’s the gopro, the the amount of force when the car hit the ground it just wow. That is crazy and we do actually have a screen protector on here, so it did crack that uh it’s really hard to see, but all good. That was awesome that was 63 miles an hour wow, and that was almost a struggle to get up to that point.
That was crazy. Now obviously, we’re gon na have to do a lot of suspension work if we’re gon na want a higher top speed, but that’s not entirely. Why i got this car, so overkill’s gon na have to go this way and bob and weave in between the cones and then the one cone way down over there he’s just going around that and coming straight back for the straightaway, hopefully that’s not too far down. So i’m, not really going to push overkill to around the 60 mile, an hour mark i’m just going to keep it to where it’s actually doable and all the tires are gon na be on the ground. I’M. Pretty excited about this one. Just look at that suspension play. Oh, i tried to do that as lightly as possible. I like how it just stays like that: that’s pretty funny and we’re good nice.
