So this is the new yikong or econ 4103 pro, Tak myślę, that’s how you pronounce it. This is a traxxas trx4 sport they’re, not exactly the same. This is slightly different. This is actually more like the normal traxxas trx4, but this video, hopefully, will give you a good comparison between the two the same. This is actually more like the normal trx4, with remote locking diffs and a two speed gearbox the trx4 sport isn’t. Quite the same as that, Jednak, the chassis is the same. The wheels are the same portal axles, etc same as this portal axles and stuff like that. But this should be a pretty good comparison for you cost wise it’s the same as the normal trx for so it’s quite expensive. Jednak, like i just said they’re both made in china, this is an american brand it’s, a chinese brand, so i took them to a crawler course, so i gave this to one of the guys down there he’s a much better driver than me. I took control of this one and we put them side by side, and hopefully this video will show you how they compare, but let’s get a bit closer. First we’ll just go a few technical details of them and then we’ll get straight in and i’ll show you. The rug – i really love the look of this one. I know i mean i painted it pink, which some of you will think is a bit random if you’ve not seen a video this it’s somewhere on the channel.
If you want to see the like, the review, unboxing i’ve done, this i’ll leave a link to that at the end. Really like this really like the looks i’m, not a massive fan of the fj cruiser in real life, but i think, as a scale vehicle. It looks good um. I just want to go over a few things before we look at the video just so you can see when we are running together the slight differences clearance under the front you can on the trx4 sport you can adjust it. You can um flip them out, so the bumper comes up completely stock yeah completely stock, build for the kit, that’s completely stock, więc to jest. Why it’s another good comparison now the clearance on this one can just as i push these two wheels underneath it just touches the front bumper there, whereas on this one, if i do that, you can clearly see well, you’ve got a fingers width of gap or more Um under there i don’t think i can get three under, but you’ve got more clearance from that front bumper. I guess mod in that that sort that problem out. If you’ve got portal axles, this box is just enough. I can just scrape it underneath there and that’s touching the pumpkin on the axle on that one and on the trx4 there’s a little bit tiny bit, probably like half a mil, maybe a little bit more and just about move it up and down.
So very very slightly more clearance on the axle on the trx 4 and actual chassis clearance under the middle there that’s about again it’s about two tyre widths. I hope you don’t mind that i’m not giving you measurements, but this is just to compare the two rather than actual give you physical measurements and then slightly less yeah, probably about a millimeter or one and a half mil slightly less clearance. Under there tyres slightly wider and a little bit taller, but hardly anything in it, but they are definitely wider, tires again that’s noticeable in this video that the uh the tyres, the trx4 tyres, are a little bit better. Um traction hobby 550 with a 1080 hobby wing esc, so it’s got a better esc, that’s a hobby wing 1060. I believe that’s, the better one, so better, electronics in the tx4 i’m, not sure the 550 motor in this doesn’t say how many turns it is so. I’D say that the setup in this is a little bit better than that from this kit that i’ve built, but other than that pretty comparable on the video. I think on the video i say that 17t it’s 27. and for the purpose of this run the diffs a lot of left, the diffs, locked and we’ve left it in low gear i’m. Just going to quickly show you now and we ran them side by side, and i know you can’t always judge gearing on the speed of them, but they were both pretty much exactly the same speed.
So the gearing is very similar, um fixed gear. In that being a sport, i’ve left that one in low gear let’s just see what the speed difference is ready. Three two one go pretty much the same: aren’t they yeah there. We go so same speed hooked up pretty much the same speed between the two so gearing pretty much spot on, so the gearing is very similar as well. So my opinion is, this is actually quite a good uh comparison, even though this isn’t, the full trx4 with the locking diffs and the two speed box, we didn’t use them on that, so anyway, I'll. Let you see the run now i’ve been going on for far too long there’s a link in the description where you can get one of these there’s, also a link in the description where i got this euro rc kindly um sent me this trx4 sport a little While ago i’ve got a series of videos on that, so massive thanks to them and it’s good to get it back out again and compare it again to something um of about the same price of a normal trx4 enjoy. The video got me pro driver on the trx 4 and the noob on the uh yaikong, which is going to be more capable. Oh, the trx4 has got slightly better turning circle right, go through the mud. Oh that’s me not watching. Let’S go through them see how these two chinese trucks hold up.

Your job is lenny to get that trx4 to do something that this one can’t, oh he’s, going straight straight forward there, all in he’s done it Applause come on little yaikong that easy, easy Applause. Yeah that trx4 has definitely got better turn in, although it’s, because it’s a kit i’ve put my own servo in it, so kit versus ready to run really we’ve got the drag brake on this now, nothing in it so far, well it’s been pretty easy Applause. Tak, Oklaski, Muzyki, Oh, come on come on adjusted my steering, adjusted the uh jewel rate on the steering and then rolled it. That was driver error, decent grip on these stock tires. Oh he’s got it he’s got it there. We go Music Applause, Wow, nothing yet come on trx. Dobrze, these are loose aren’t, they down stuff that was on there before. That was hard, a lot of spirit involved, Czyli. Co powiedziała. Applause look at that i’m, not sure i’m gon na get that there. Oh trx ford’s ties are superior to these that’s got there so easy trx4. Jestem. Przepraszam, oh Muzyka! Nie! It done it as well. Just a poor line. I couldn’t get up here earlier. Muzyki, Pory, i’d say there’s, nothing in either of them. I think the tie is slightly better on the trx4. Remember, Choć, this one is straight out the box, the turret too busy talking too busy chatting there x4 was a kit i built.
So Applause come on. Nie, there we go there, we go oh he’s, bleached it let’s catch that on camera, show him how it’s done. Shall we there? We go all right, it’s slippery in it when it’s wet that wood terrible, really bad. So this one’s got a bit more clearance under that bumper than the uh stock trx4. So we should be able to clear this, unlike the trx4 that’s stock, but you can change the bumper position on the traxxas let’s make him go right up the end there before it tips here we go. Is it going to go here? We go Applause. If i go back Laughter, go go, go start, throwing off the end. Music Applause yeah this one looks better i’d say the tires. Trx4 tyres. The stock tires a bit better. I know you can mod them as well to make them even better than they are. Obviously the yaikong’s got the remote locking diffs that the trx4 sport hasn’t got that normal trx4 has kept it in low gear, with the diffs locked for this test, so it’s about as much like the sport as we can get it and i’d say there’s, nothing in It you asked me last time to compare it with trx4 Music, so there you go compared to a trx4, nothing in it at all. Apart from me, being a bit of a crap driver Applause, yeah he’s gone over as well. There we go so there we go.
Nothing really in it between the two slightly better ties on there. Ta rzecz, Choć, definitely winning on the looks uh part of it. Dobrze, that is it yeah slightly yeah tyres errors are slightly bigger other than that, Choć, pretty comparable cheers watching. We’Ll see you next time.
