I installed this remote starter for my 2016 Hyundia santa fe at my dealer and after 2 days i couldn’t unlock the door after remote start the car the only way to control it stop the engine then
Unlock the door it’s unlock but
It goes to panic mood and
If i press any button horn stop
And everything get normal
I went to my dealer and they
Reprogrammed but didn’t fix it
I don’t have any problem with car when I don’t use the remote starter
any advice could help please

does the engine shut off when you open the door? My elantra limited 2016 shuts the engine off as i open the door. The dealer didn't mention this to me during the quotation and mentioned only after the installation. The service rep said the car is not programmed for the engine to remain on as you open the door.
