This is hassan hobbies. Coming at you with a another review. This is going to be a 1 10 Skali. Low c baja ray this truck it’s a fun truck i’m gon na get that out of the way. First and foremost, it is a fun truck. It is a durable truck. Moim zdaniem, it is well worth the 430 ish dollars that this thing cost at the time of this review. Some caveats, Choć, this lexian body it’s a four piece body. So a hood comes off, fenders, come off mind you they’re, usually bolted in, and the center piece is bolted in, but it is a thin body, especially the front of it. This is the front of this body, jak widać, it’s seen some better days, and i have some experience actually a lot of experience with a110 scale bajare. It is a fairly poor handling truck given its uh style. It is a solid rear, Osi, independent front suspension, truck it’s, also cracked everywhere else in the center a pillars that’s missing, it’s missing but other than if you can get past. The poor handling like if you’re used to any other 10th scale short course truck. That’S independent suspension, those are going to handle better, but if you’re looking for a scale, ish driving experience – and you just want some fun – then nothing really beats having that long, travel solid axle in the back some uh things that we have broken on these, though the Front upper arms and the front bumper that is primarily due just to the way these things drive.

If you bash them hard you’re gon na notice, they uh their nose heavy when they jump and they like to uh try the front flip. They never actually front flip, though they end up landing on their face, so we actually installed rpm front arms up and that comes in a set of upper and lowers and the rpm front bumper, and that was that basically fixed the durability issue of this truck handling. Wise, if you want this truck to handle just a bit better and jump a lot better, put some stiffer springs up front and it’s, actually the same diameter of a traxxas slash the ultra shocks. So if you just pick a setup, those tuning springs. You can play around with it and see what fits your need. Something else that has uh and died on this truck is the stock servo. We switched that out for our waterproof savix, one that helped us out immensely. The factory tires on the uh losi baja ray super soft super grippy, but they fold over on themselves a lot if you can see that as they’re taking a corner, they will kind of fold in like that and pinch themselves and that just kind of leads you To rolling around a bit more – and that is the weakest point of the truck again – is the wheels and tires i’ve had two of these now and the first and i had actually ripped the tire off of every single wheel on that vehicle.

This one only did it once, but we fixed that by going with a set of proline bead locks and their wheels and tires that they made specifically for these baja style trucks flipping this guy over, you can see she’s, not a looker. We used her a lot and we got aluminum, turnbuckles aluminum mounts for the uppers and lower arms, and we also got aluminum upper links. Those are usually plastic. This also is running a 1 8 Skali, motor and esc on 3s and gearing is a bit hard because it’s very limited on space, so it’s set up to go about 20 miles an hour running a 3s lipo but that’s to get a more scale driving experience Before we were hitting about 45 miles an hour again on 3s with the stock motor combo uh, Jednak, a few caveats with that we’ve been through two of those factory dynamite, esc’s they’re, just not not really up to par, but this truck from horizon hobbies does come With a two year, warranty so they’re, typically nice about it, just tell them what happened. They’Ll, send you a new one. You send your old one in and that’s that other than that, Choć, if you’re looking for a scale, 1 10 driving experience and you’re tired of your conventional short course truck get a bahare you’re, not gon na be disappointed. You’Re gon na have fun. You might not break anything, you might break something it’s, just part of the hobby i just recommend enjoy it.

Have some fun change the server change the tires out tune, your shocks up and you’re gon na have a super fun time, but that’s it for this review. Miejmy nadzieję, you guys learned something new.
