Arrma Limitless | 1 year of speed and durability

How are you it’s me again so for this time i’m not going to make it long it’s, a long term review on my arma limitless speed runner. Este é um 1 7 scale from arma first one um. This is like, after a year of owning it, so this car turns one year exactly today. So what are the changes that have done on it and other damages? Até agora, i’ll start with the the body itself, the body it’s really sleek, é, really thick it’s. Nearly two millimeters thick, Eu acho, it’s really tough, but there’s, some scratches in there just normal and so far the body held up well. So the first problem i had was like i broke, i broke the body clips, i mean the body clip holders or this rubber ones. So when i pull it and it broke like it snapped and what we call, this cable tie on it and put some loctite and then taped it and then it’s sold same with the back parts here. So i’ve done the same thing. Still: OKEY, really really fine! Over time, há, probably stickers, peeling off the front wing and the splitter is the most vulnerable part there’s a lot of scratches and dance. This is just a plastic wing. I mean splitter made of like a really flexible plastic. We can see the level there so so whenever i hit something like the pavement cutter it bends. So what i do is just bend it back with a pair of pliers or hammer it sometimes so it’s not really like a bad thing having a plastic splitter.

So i haven’t really broken this yet it’s. Just like me, there’s millions of scratches in there, which is a good thing. So i was planning it first buying a carbon fiber splitter or a steel one, but it’s not advisable because you would eventually always hit the front part, so you’re going to be breaking those or bending those which is really hard to bend back. So for this one, i prefer having the stock one, and i just keep on bending this back anyway, de modo que é, what makes it durable and long, lasting and also the front uh the front wing is made of the same quality as the body like it has like. Nearly two millimeters thick let’s say: 1.5 Milímetro, thick um thickness. É claro. This part here always hit something and it’s already broken, not really broken, but still works so and also the front corners black ones, the panels they can be removed and whenever hit something, they always fly off, and you can see here broken it plenty of times and Just fix it with a super glue. Another one here super glue, so each each timer front liters are broken, each screw is being removed, so i had to replace each screw each time. So i this time i replaced them with a much longer set of screws to solve the problem. The side besides the wing it’s, also like broken here, because what it did was stupid. I put new tires that are not belted, so at high rpm.

These tires, i mean the non belted tires balloon and they hit the front part. So it broke my front part here. So there was supposed to be a piece of plastic extending here, but i had to cut it. It was hitting the tire when it balloons and with the other side i have the same damage it doesn’t matter. The back part is back wing it’s damaged as well. So i’ve always hit this part here and broke this. So what i did was i reinforced it without a bit of plastic, so it’s much thicker and much reinforced plastic compared to the other side. Aqui, Isto é, not really really thin. You can see the difference. I modified the wing Music, totally cut, it cut the wing. This part here and i screwed in the both sides on the side, so you can see the screw here. So i can just unscrew this and remove this portion of the wing and leave it flat to reduce the downforce during speed running then i can just always put it back to restore the downforce when, when i’m just doing a road, so what they did here was Just put some tapes to hold it together and that’s it and screw on the side. A pair of cable ties. Three cable ties here to hold inside and here as a handle. So i use this a handle as a handle. I’Ll give you an example there and how i lift it like this, so it’s strong enough to be lifted so yeah currently it’s heavy.

It weighs around four kilograms. I think so hold it with a pinky finger. There’S no electronics inside so it’s it’s lighter at four kilograms. The first mod i did really nice. I made my own um speedrun wing out of this uh cheap plastic, so i just totally moved the stock wing and replace with the with the fly with a flat one for less drag and less downforce allowing for higher speeds. So with this one, i was able to reach 100 milhas por hora 100 plus miles an hour with the help of the motor. The sss uh, 4082 1600 kv motor like having high rpm on 8s, like i can show you the vid of it running at 100. Miles an hour plus so i i made my own uh mudguards. I haven’t really bought anything that’s, a direct upgrade to this car, because this car is really amazing out of the box, so it pretty looks the same like out of the box yeah anyway, i’ve lots. Millions of scratches here lots of scratches scratches scratches scratches everywhere so that’s after a year of like running, so i just run it for, like maybe twice or twice a month or let’s say once a week or once every two weeks uh every weekend. So whenever i have time to run it just run it like that, and i don’t do always. I don’t always do speedrunners just more of the drift bash and road bash. Um haven’t really had any major damage so far, while the tires, as you can see the tires here well, they would be surprised.

These are the stock tires that came with it. Look at the treads they’re still okay, so the treads are still okay. This one’s a bit bald this one’s a bit bald. You can see the line on the side there it’s nearly giving up, but we’re still working well um for a year, i’ve been holding this star and anyway, uh. These tires are not really used for the whole year because i bought other sets like just like the grp grp like s7, that i use most of the time for drifting, and this is the speed run tire that i use, so i don’t really use them that Much and then how about the gears and everything inside and metals the metals inside, so i only had one problem with gears with the gear cup here, so i only had one problem with the difficulty. You know if you can see that difficult. There only had one problem with that before they keep coming loose, so they had to open them, always and lock, tight them that’s. All so far, the problems and the rest of the gears, the drive, shaft and the drive train are doing fine, really really fine. Out of the box since then, haven’t really touched them motor mount uh, just one screw. I had to replace because the screw like this is the new one, and this is the oh, the stock, Um. So the stock one. We can see the head, the hex slot going around so that’s the weakness of it so i’ve extended the antennae or antenna outside with a piece of metal here, a piece of metal tube.

Then a plastic tube that curves all the way up. So what i’m doing is just i’m putting the receiver in and then put the antenna all through into this hole here, and this tube will be like containing the antenna and that allows for longer range, and this one is the the esc called esc guard you’re here. Whenever it’s turning it’s like throwing some particles out and making the surroundings dirty, so i just put this guard here to you know the body you see from those dirts and that’s all it’s really really cheap straight. Also it’s just made of cardboard let’s, say some kind of buck um paper thick paper i got somewhere and i just wrapped it with an electrical tape. Uh so far, one year running it or i haven’t really broken anything major haven’t bought enough replacement parts. It’S really worth it: 400 euro you get more than that. Eu quero dizer 400 Dólares. You get more than what you pay for. Oh, eu não tenho, oh, so this is the armor limitless here um. This is really one of the best rollers out there. Roller is nice because you can decide on which electronics you want to have to put in the unlimited list here also like. It also depends on this on the driver’s skill level. You can’t just give this one to a five year old child or a ten year old child. This thing is really fast uh, regardless of what electronics you put in because it has a high gearing ratio and one acceleration can go like 60 miles an hour in a few seconds, six seconds, seven seconds, and so it really depends on the driver uh on how Harsh the driver or how how reckless the driver.

So in my case i drift bash. I make sure that there’s an open, a really big, open space and there’s not much obstacles around it and also when i speed run and make sure that the road is wide enough long enough.
