Crazy Fast Off Road RC Car! Arrma Mojave EXB with a Limitless Speed Pinion

Run gen days have just sent me a couple of these 3s 6 500 milliamp hours, 60c rated uh, lipos big thanks to them for sending them i’ve changed the connector to an xt90. They come with ec5s, i think yeah, the blue ones uh, so i’ve changed them over. This bashing series and genza is really good. I’Ve been using them a little while they even even do some that are fitting. Tamiyas i’ve got some 4s and i’ve got some slightly used and abused 3s ones as well. These are 5000mm power 50c. This is what i’ve been using up until this point in my armours, and this is the newer one you can see it’s slightly longer it’s about the same thickness, though so i’m expecting this. To give me a bit more punch and a bit more run time. I don’t want to keep you all waiting, so let’s get straight into the speed run. If you want to know a little bit more about this, i’ll do at the end of this video i’ll show you the gear and i’ve got in there and all the other bits and pieces and enjoy right then found a nice feel there’s a few people about. Então, to take it a little bit easy first run just wan na i’ve not been to this field before i want to find the lay of the land make sure there’s no dips or anything it’s gon na catch me out, give it a couple of medium passes And then we’ll go for a run and get the batteries warmed as well.

So here we go pretty fast, just be careful not to roll it very fast, very fast. So then that was about half throttle 48 mile an hour pretty good. It seems nice and flat. There so let’s do another pass, whoa big jump. Bem, that was nearly full throttle. 55. We are gon na struggle with that 29 tooth pinion. We should be hitting over 60. big jump now. That was full throttle for a good couple of seconds. Fresco. The batteries are cool, motor’s, Fresco, esc, so motor esc and batteries all cool, which means you could gear this up. You’Ll just need a uh, a custom mount like a motor mount. This is about as high as you can go, but being at this has got the 29 tooth pinion on. I am pleased that motor stayed cool well. That was flat out for a long time then. So this is about as fast as we’re going to get. I don’t know whether the batteries have gone down a bit now that’s about five or six passes. When you go in that sort of speed, the batteries do take a bit of a hit right. We’Ll use this. This is our final one. Oh sim 62.. We have broken 60 mile an hour with a mojave off road. I now want to give that another run. I managed to get it pretty much flat. All the way up there just to confirm zero track. Start probably won’t be able to replicate that now, but going with the wind behind seems to work, keeps that front down just about yes, no on your wheels on yours.

This seems a machine 61, so yeah confirmed 62 mile an hour. Definitely right! Let’S put the gopro on let’s, take it for a ride. Wow that’s it for this video guys cheers for watching, i’ve just checked the motor batteries and esc as well. Motor is starting to get a little bit warmer could still just about touch it, but definitely a bit of heat coming into that motor uh, esc and battery is still not much heat there at all. Nothing that um i’d not expect from it from doing all them passes. We’Ve done loads of passes now a couple of 62s or 61.. This thing is an absolute weapon cheers watching guys. I’Ll see you next time, Bom. One of the biggest questions i get on my speedrun videos is what i use for my speed runs it’s the skyc gsm020 there’s a link for it. In the description you use an app on your phone it’s, a little gps module. Really really good, that is what i use so scorch rc inner fender is really good at keeping the muck out of the truck just showing you some pictures now of it after the run and then how it was inside i’ve cleaned it since really good um, really Good addition keeps the inside nice and clean pretty basic setup inside we’ve got the max 6 from hobby wing, cheap 25 kilo servo. Until i get one that breaks i’m going to keep running them, they cost like 10 quid 12 13, the rake on there, but it’s quite high at the back hello at the front.

Trying to keep that front down on them. Speed runs. Este é um 45 85 um size. Motor 1580 kv got off ebay. It cost me at the time about 30 pound 40 or something they’ve gone up a little bit now. They’Re i’m, pretty sure they’re, unbranded surplus hobby rocket motors, really good motors. This has been in my limitless it’s, been in this after this speed run, giving it hell, it’s also been in that and done 60 mile an hour in that thing and so yeah. I really rate that motor already spoken about the battery that i was running other than that it’s, a stock exp mojave. So there is the tooth pinion all i’ve done to get it on was just just filed it out a bit i’m not going to take this out because i’ve not tightened them in, but just fold it out a bit. It allows you to move that motor out ever so slightly more and get that 27 teeth. Pinion in, i think i said 29 on the video but it’s 27.. Not without set up going up a few kvs on the motor would help because it’s still quite low 1580, so maybe going up to a 17 Ou 1800.
